We had the best time, the best food, the best service, and the best stay! We were on a “wingin’ it” road trip from North Carolina to Indiana and happened upon this fabulous little place!! Our neighboring table recommended the Fried Deviled Eggs and we were so glad they did!! They are amazing!! We sat outside and the weather was perfect!! We had great service as well with a couple cocktails at the tavern after dinner! Our stay at the Hen’s Loft was fantastic and the perfect find!! Thank you all!! We will be back!!

I usually stay with some favorites, but today I tried breakfast on Sunday and it was delicious! Just exactly what I had my mouth all set for.

This is our third year here and we’ve always skipped this place because it looks like a rustic outdoor beer and wing place, and while my husband is fine with that, I prefer less fried options with plants and whole grains and we assumed they didn’t have it. We were wrong.

They actually have the best menu of any place in town (diverse with several salads that include things other than just lettuce), and serve dinner on non weekend days. The pot pie my daughter had was the good kind where the pastry is only on top. My salad was not plain, and my husband and son were happy with their wings and fish nuggets. The liquid Marijuana cocktail suggested by the server was nice. Very fun and was worth its price (not watered down).

The only things we didn’t like here was that the seating was outside and there were lots of gnats in our face, and I would have preferred the ribs taken out of the kale for the kale salad.

I always make sure to stop here after a ride on the VA. Creeper trial!?‍♀️?‍♀️ Being a Wing fanatic, I absolutely LOVE their wings!??And the multiple selections of flavors is amazing! Today I had the wet buffalo garlic and the dry rub garlic Sriracha! Wow! They never disappoint! Cooked just right, crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside! And meaty too!!! The flavors never disappoint! Not quite a wingasmic 10, but definitely a 9 for sure!
My only complaint is they charge .$50 for water!! And they also charge for credit card fees. Isn't that a cost of doing biz? And seriously, charging for tap water? That's ridiculous! That's not acceptable. Water definitely should NOT be a charge, especially when they do not tell you this up front when they ask if you'd like some water.

I was surprised at how little sauce they provided on the boneless chicken. I’ve been to a lot of chicken joints and this place barely used any sauce. I couldn’t taste the difference between the BBQ and the Buffalo chicken. The lettuce was crisp and fresh in the salad but overall disappointed with the boneless chicken.

Very disappointed in the Ice Cream Shoppe at the Wicked Chicken. Website says open till 7 on Sundays. We showed up at 5 till 5 and was told rudely they closed at 5. We let the person know that there website says 7 and we were told to just look at the signs out front and on the door. Well sign out front says Wicked Chicken closes at 5 but nothing about the Ice Cream Shoppe. I guess people who don’t live in Damascus should be able to read the signs from home. Chick with nose ring was very short and rude. Would not recommend but would recommend that they update their website. ?
