Brought out of town visitors because the food is so good but today the (woman)staff was so bitchy left without eating. Will NOT be back!!!

What a WONDERFUL surprise. Everything I had was fabulous!
I am a BBQ snob. My son runs a BBQ joint and I drive a charter bus. I seek out BBQ joints everywhere I go.
Hank's is fantastic! I realize everyone has a different idea of what BBQ is but theirs pushed ALL my buttons. The brisket was as good as any I have tried and the pork was hands down, the BEST I have had so far!
Not too easy to find, but well worth the effort.
Loved the atmosphere and the staff was AWESOME.

The. Lady at the counter was a bit gruff. Pork was ok but the brisket was a bit dry. For $50 was can find better.

Had a great snack while visiting on a cold, wet day. I think one of the pretzels we had was too close to the heat lamp since it was a tad too dry. Overall, this was a pretty cool place!

The food here has always been delicious. Today, I ordered the avocado and black bean wrap (which I just had 5 days ago as well). While eating the first half, there was absolutely no avocado, so I went back up to the counter to let them know. The young man behind the counter began arguing with me that he put half an avocado in my wrap. I then opened up the other half of my wrap to show him, and he pointed at one tiny quarter-sized piece of avocado, and said, "See, there's the avocado," and continued arguing that he put half an avocado in there. It was ridiculous to claim that that tiny sliver was my avocado! He then (rudely) said that he would give me the other half. The female behind the counter was not any nicer. They were both extremely rude, and, at this point, I had to add the avocado to my wrap, which made it difficult to roll it back into a wrap. Overall, a very disappointing trip to Hank's at Dayton!!

My husband and I had lunch there today. Food was good, but our barbecued brisket, which we paid extra to get, was mostly fat and a very small portions. $26 a seemed like a lot for a small cup of soup and a sandwich that was mostly fat and not much meat. I don’t mind the extra charge, but would like a decent portion.

The food is always hot and very quick. The portions are great size. Will go again.
