It’s closed and everything is ripped out. Wanted my time getting off the highway because someone didn’t bother to update their Google profile. ?

One of the best Dairy Queens, food wise. Great cheeseburgers!!! Service leaves a little to be desired. Many times, this location is busy, especially in the warmer months. If they're busy, you'll be waiting a long time for your order. Being right off the Interstate, and being below the entrance to Claytor Lake State Park, brings a lot of traffic.

They don't let you use the app And I had a free blizzard But I had to pay for it Plus they didn't turn them upside down I thought it was free if they don't turn it up But they said they don't have to do with it this location This place should be shut down...

So went through the drive through and made a specific request for the toast to be in my 3pc chicken basket with gravy. I was told I had to order the 4pc, obliged and instead ordered the 4pc. Got the food parked and thought nothing of anything cause I could tell the food was hot and fresh. Opened my box and the toast looked normal on top. When I pulled it out it was burnt on the other side. I would’ve waited patiently for un-burnt toast all they needed to do was tell me they burnt it and are making fresh. Don’t give people burnt food especially when they are making specific request for a certain side to accompany their order. Sheesh I didn’t ask for it to be fixed cause I feel like it’s common sense not to give customers burnt food. The staff seemed friendly enough they probably would’ve fixed it no problem but I just worked 60 hours driving a truck and I’m too tired to ask people to do their jobs correctly.

Have been going here for 3 years…this review is based off of prior experiences as the last 3 blizzards I’ve gotten in the last 2 weeks have been more like vanilla ice cream in a cup. Whoever got hired there lately needs trained on what a blizzard is: have been getting more Oreo in my McFlurry at McDonald’s.

Never again! Worst humiliation I've ever been thru ! Accused of stealing an order waited 25 min then manager had to watch the TV can just to prove it when then found I didn't take the order they gave me my order it was cold and missing items I asked for an apologies they yelled leave! Get out of my store! Don't ever come back! Threw arms up at me continued to yell at me very unprrfessional at least a refund would be nice

Stopped here yesterday evening for dessert only to be told they had no ice cream. Are you kidding, a Dairy Queen with no ice cream is like a KFC with no chicken !! Don’t waste your time!!

Worst blizzard I have ever hadAlmost no ingredients in it. Looked like they poured milk over it. The ice cream tasted like it sat in a freezer for 6 months.

This is on the route of a trip that we make occasionally, and we are almost always hungry at about this point in the journey. No matter what we choose, it is always good, and I believe it is because they begin with good soft-serve. We look forward to this break in our travel.

I ordered a hotdog with mayo, mustard, ketchup, and pickles. I was told by the girl taking my order that they don’t put pickles on hot dogs. Perhaps there is new legislation in the state of Virginia regarding pickles and what types of food they can be placed on. Or maybe the pickle slices were simply too heavy to lift for hot dogs, but could safely be lifted to rest upon a hamburger. Maybe the girl was hoarding all the pickles for herself and secretly takes them home for midnight snacking. Hmmmmmm.UPDATE: 4 days later after receiving contact from DQ management, I went through the drive through tonight and orders hotdogs with pickles again. I was again told that they could not put pickles on my hot dog. If there is an issue with the POS system and it doesn’t allow “add pickles” or a “side of pickles”, that needs to be fixed. At the least, train the very young staff to holler back at the person making the hot dogs to add a few pickles. They do tuck in easily between the wiener and the bun without much effort. I promise they do. Also, it is super helpful to provide napkins to customers without them having to flag you down after you walk away from the window to ask for them. If it helps with the pickle issue, you can post this somewhere they will see it:P - is for “pickle”I - is for “is not heavy”C - is for “can easily be added”K - is for “keep customers happy”L - is for “look, it’s like relish but not”E- is for “everything is better with pickles”

I ordered 3 hot dogs with ketchup, mustard, mayo, and pickles in the drive through earlier tonight. I was told by the girl working that they don’t put pickles on hot dogs. Perhaps there is new legislation for the state of Virginia that prohibits pickles on hot dogs. Maybe the pickle slices were too heavy to lift and place on a hot dog, but could easily be added to a hamburger. Maybe the girl working hoards the pickles for herself and takes them home for midnight snacks. How dare I make such a difficult and unreasonable request, next thing you know people will be asking for cookie bits in blizzards.

I need the manager to contact me asap. I want a refund. Paid for two 6pc chicken strip baskets with drinks. Total like $23. Got a 3pc and a burger. After waiting 15mins with no warning or apology. Because I was now wayyy late coming back to work, I didn’t check my bag. Tried calling with no answer.
