We had a very enjoyable meal at El Ranchero. Chips and salsa along with our drink orders came immediately. The salsa was very good. I ordered the fajitas with chicken and steak mixed with grilled onions, bell, peppers and tomatoes. It came with rice, beans, lettuce, and tortillas. I choose the corn tortillas. It was nicely seasoned. Hubby ordered a hamburger and fries. Our waitress was attentive and professional, but also friendly. We dinned early so they were not busy and she chatted a bit which was nice. We will go again when in the area.

I've been going here since I was a child and they've always been amazing. Very good staff, delicious food. The only complaint I have is that the service can be a little slow, and the food can be a little expensive. Other than that, I highly recommend this place!
El Ranchero built a new restaurant two or three years ago and the food has not been as good as it was in the old place. We recently visited El Ranchero and got the Texana Fajitas for two. The portion size was small, slightly scorched on the bottom and very overcooked. We have tried the new place several times hoping it will get better but it hasn't. The new restaurant is beautiful but I feel as if quality was traded for beauty. Including the tip, our meal and one soda was almost fifty dollars. Definitely not worth the price.

The worst in all aspects - service, atmosphere and worse the food. Salsa was canned tomato sauce; jalapeños were canned pickled; it was an extremely poor excuse for a professional establishment and Mexican only in name.
Highly recommended. The food is amazing! And the best salsa I have ever had. My boyfriend and I have bought extra salsa to go along with chips and few times.
