Hands down the best home-cooked meal I’ve had since my mommy passed way 5yrs ago…everything was fresh & made with love from scratch. People see so friendly & down to earth as well! We will absolutely be coming back! The only regret we have is they’re not open on Sundays & we couldn’t go back for seconds!

Loved the Christian messages on the menu and historical pictures of the town and of the military veterans on the walls and seeing all of the locals eating there and greeting each other for breakfast. A true small town cozy and friendly atmosphere. The food was freshly made, delicious and the servings were very generous.

Was in the area with my wife, and we stopped this amazing little place. It was about a hour before closing, so we ordered simple and easy. The staff were amazing. The vibe of the place is old school history but also the feeling like one gets at Cheers. People come here all the time, the diner is a staple of this town. The food was amazing. My wife had the hotdog with coleslaw which she pointed out the slaw was the best she had. I got the reuben and boy I was in for a treat. I have held the 1 spot for reuben from a place in Jersey, and this one here took the 1 spot. The cook made it so perfect that I wanted to get another one but I will save it for the next time we come through again. Simple put this kind of place that shows good food, great staff and town vibe is so much better then the fancy costly places they put around my area of Charlottesville. Thank you C&S diner.

It's a hometown favorite. It seems to be where all the locals go to sit and have coffee and gossip and talk. It really has the local flavor. I would add more pictures on the wall of the town, Itself and of the people. Both past and present.
