Wow!! If we had a place like this in michigan we would be there every day. Despite them being slammed when we were there our food came out quickly. Omeltte was great and the mac was creamy. My guy got a hamburger/fries and finished up with a slice of pie. And dont get me started on my biscut! ?

Service was awesome!! Our waitress great and the cook (who was a one woman show) walked over from the open kitchen to check on our experience. She seemed like a whirlwind that doesnt stop and I mean that as a huge compliment!!!

A "back home" restaurant! I have eaten several meals there. Everything is light and cheery. The cook appears to be calm even with orders flying at her. You may find her dancing and singing to a great song if you're lucky! The eggs have been perfect and the fried apples are perfect with just enough sweetness but not overly sweet.

Alright, alright ... I knew when we pulled up this place was gonna be fire ... the coffee was fantastic, the hospitality wonderful, the food amazing and the atmosphere memorable like a throwback in time. I needed that while passing through ... highly recommended.Get the sausage gravy over cornbread ... you won't be sorry. Grab side of home fries while you're at it ... then finish it off with the peanut butter pie.Thank me in your future review. :)

A quaint little diner in the main section of downtown Elkton. The food and service were great; but it is the charm of this place that draws you back. It’s like stepping back in time.

Mostly good experiences. Only been there at breakfast. I prefer strong coffee and for me, the coffee is always weak tasting and the breakfast potatoes are never browned and that's my preference as well. Food portions are great, very filling and the prices are good. Service depends on who you get. Despite being regulars, on our last visit, our server disappeared constantly as we waited patiently for our only coffee refill. Wanted to know what the pie selection was and finally flagged down someone else but when the waitress bothered to get close by, her only response was to yell rudely, "Ain't got none" as she disappeared yet again into the back. That one always looks seriously mad and we tip very well so no clue why. There was only one other table. I've worked restaurants most of my life so her attitude is unacceptable. The other server is always smiling and friendly.
