Day shift isn't to bad. But evening shift is awful. Fries always cold and chewy. The chicken nuggets aren't done and they don't put the right toppings on the Burgers. Just ketchup and pickle. No mustard. Or onion. Staff is rude when asking for extra sauce . . I've had workers roll there eyes. Worse mcdonalds I've ever been to.

This is the most consistently managed McDonald's I've ever experienced, and I am forty plus years old. Coke is always good, and if you know fast food and restaurants, they are infamous for having low syrup and not changing them and the drinks reflecting that in taste. I eat breakfast there often because I live in rural Virginia, and there are not many options and I work long hours and don't always have time to cook breakfast and their breakfast is always hot and fresh and their staff is always friendly and nice and helpful. I am not one to give compliments or excessively good reviews for no reason. These five stars are definitely deserved. Whoever manages this McDonald's should be proud of themselves as well as their hourly employees because I've worked in the service industry for over 25 years and I've seen every horror story imaginable And this mcdonald's is a fine sample of what a franchised chain restaurant should look like. Way to go, Elkton, VA, McDonald's! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Food was okay, wouldn't say the same about the manager, second I walked in the door she was behind the counter cussing up a storm to her employees to where everyone could hear her, it was embarrassing. The guy who took me and my parent's order was great but he forgot my cup and and my dad simply reached behind the counter to grab me one rather than bother him again, the second he did the manager had the biggest attitude and was rude about it and she chewed up the employee who took our order. She clearly does not deserve a job if that is how she's treating employees/customers.

I didn’t know McDonald’s was testing a new “McCrispy Bun” feature, but here we are. Got a McChicken with a bun so toasted it looked like it had a second career as a charcoal briquette.
Given that McDonald's toasters are standardized and not adjustable, the only way to get it that burnt is by running it through a second time. That’s not cooking—that’s pressing rewind on a mistake.
Reheating should be reserved for leftovers, not fresh orders. Leave the microwave chef moves to the folks at home. If it’s burnt, bin it. That’s just kitchen 101.
Drive thru employee was very rude !! Part of our order was a 10 piece nugget meal and one of the nuggets wasn't much bigger than a dime !!! C'mon McDonald's do better !!!
Terrible place, terrible service, terrible staff, the manager wouldn’t even come and talk to me. Very bad customer service.
