Shop was cute, love the kitsch. I now believe the other reviews that say this is an ice cream shop with a coffee pot, but we went looking for coffee and were very disappointed. The latte took very long to make, was served only lukewarm, and was incredibly weak tasting. The barista was also standoffish and we felt like we were intruding. It was an uncomfortable experience. The defensive responses to other reviews are also deeply unprofessional. Shan't be returning. If you want COFFEE, go to Moxie33, just 2 minutes down the road.

We ordered two lattes and three pints of ice cream (all to go).

It took 24 minutes for this order to be made - we were the only ones there.

The lattes were terrible - almost as if the espresso were made wrong (it tasted like dirty water more than espresso).

Haven't tried the ice cream yet, can't speak to the quality.

Update after trying the ice cream:
I updated the food score from 1 to 2 stars. Ice cream was good, would recommend to anyone looking for some.

Still leaving the service at 1 star due to how slow it was, but if you're in the area looking for a latte and ok with a long wait, consider giving it a try.

I stopped in with high hopes of trying a new coffee shop as I passed through Harrisonburg . I was over a hour away from home. However, when I walked in I didn’t feel welcomed. Still, I decided to give it a try. I said it was my first time, and asked for an iced latte. However, there was no ice for any iced drinks. So then I asked if there were any cold coffee options, to which the Orville was recommended. I was disappointed I couldn’t get an iced drink, but have to say I did enjoy the Orville with Vanilla icecream and caramel. The coffee was strong and tasted good with the icecream. Next time I would ask for one more scoop of icecream.

Friendly staff, unique decor, and a family atmosphere. Next to a variety of shops and restaurants; something fun for all ages of your family. My boy loved playing with the remote control robots. ❤️ ☕️

This was the strangest experience.. this is definitely not a “coffee shop” they have a small espresso machine and 5 or 6 drinks to choose from. I love supporting small local shops but this place needs help.

That coffee was a serious let down.

Please do not go here. Went in and the coffee was down for the day - which is fair, no fault on that. But literally all of the ice cream had also melted - employee said the freezer must have gotten unplugged overnight yet we were still offered ice cream even though the worker dipped a scoop in and showed it had the consistency of water. I’ve had many years in the food service industry, but don’t think I need to even say that to point out this in an obvious health code violation. They were apparently just waiting for it to refreeze when all of it should have been tossed out - please have higher standards than this because people are going to get sick if this is the norm.

Edit: note the fake review from the owner immediately after mine in an attempt to offset the lower rating and lack of apology/acknowledgment that the employee needs food safety training. Once again, be warned before going here.

Went in today with my family. Service was very slow. 10 minutes for 2 americanos to be made and 10-15 more for 2 other drinks (one a latte). We were the only ones in there. Hardly any flavor options for coffee. Only had like 3 fruit options, hazelnut and peppermint. For being a coffee place there is hardly any coffee options and latte tasted like warm milk.

Very cute business. Very friendly owner. Both my chai and my fiancé’s coffee were very watered down and bland. Although a cute shop, would not recommend for those looking to order a coffee or tea that actually taste like them. Had to stop at McDonald’s for replacement caffeine fixes. Hope improvements can be made, sadly disappointed.

Three drinks were ordered, including 2 maple lattes and a decaf, but it took over 30 minutes for the barista to prepare them. Despite being the only customers in the store on a Monday at 4:30 pm, the barista's attitude was not very friendly or welcoming. The lattes ended up tasting like warm milk without any trace of coffee or maple flavor, and the decaf was disappointingly watered down. This experience was unsatisfactory, and I wouldn't recommend or visit the coffee shop again.

Cute place and very nice owner! I was not happy with the coffee. I got a 12oz mocha latte and they hardly put any espresso in so it just tasted like warm milk. They also only had almond milk as another milk alternative. They do not have oatmilk or soy, and they also did not have whip cream…and they serve ice cream. How could they not if they serve ice cream? I would not go back but I had to give them a 3 because the owner is nice.

We were there on Sunday. Was closed.
