The owner is friendly and accommodating, creating a warm atmosphere with covered patio seating. The food is described as phenomenal, with the seafood pancake and weekly special bao buns standing out for their flavors and quality. The buns were fluffy and the pork was savory with great marbling. Umami is a one-woman show run by a chef named Krys who communicates well and ensures a pleasant dining experience. It's a place that customers want to return to regularly, offering a variety of tasty dishes for everyone to enjoy. The food is fresh, fun, tasty and delicious. The space is teensy but the food packs a punch. Chef Krys hails from Vietnam. Her cooking is fantastic. The food was outstanding- fresh and crunchy, rich and warming, a varied array of textures and flavors.
