We've been travelling thru this area regularly for more than a decade. We knew this place as Pueblo Viejo many years ago. Now it is El Ranchero, with the same fantastic food, generous portions, pleasant and peaceful atmosphere. We definitely suggest having the homemade Sangria- loaded with bits of delicious fresh fruit with your meal. I enjoyed lunch with the Enchiladas Poblanas, 2 chicken enchiladas with sweet chocolatey Mole sauce & Mexican rice. Hubby was starving...
Food is fresh and tasty. Plenty of options. Prices are reasonable and staff is pleasant. Would definitely recommend. I took my food to go but the place is brightly lit and clean. Id try dining in. The drinks look amazing.
Traveling on i95 can be tough when you don’t want to eat fast food. This was an excellent meal. Food is well seasoned and not greasy. Portions are generous and prices great (I’m from NYC). Clean and staff is friendly as well as prompt. Doing my 3x a year trek to the south just got a little bit better. Will be back.
