My girlfriend and I found this place on the way from North Carolina to Virginia. We were craving baked chicken and cabbage and we found it. The food is scrumptious and it felt like a home cooked meal. It was Buffet style and they kept the buffet loaded with fresh foods of fried and baked chicken, ham, roast beef, candid yams, cabbage, green beans, Mac and cheese, rice, mash potatoes, brown gravy, soup, rolls, rice pudding, bread pudding, banana pudding, and more. We were at the end of a long day driving up from Florida. We stopped there more because the other restaurants didn't appeal to us but we were surprised by how good the food was. The fried chicken was great.
Thank you for caramelizing the veges in my omelet and seasoning. Nice and cheesey. Every time I come here the food is great. Thank you for buttering the toast end to end. Most places put a slab of cold butter on lukewarm toast and it never melts. I do breakfast. I need to try the buffet. Thank you. Great meal to start my day
