Fancy Gap Country Store

We stop by last nice to try some rib, pulled pork, chicken legs and side dishes . Oh my gosh it was the best delicious food I ever had . The most friendly people ever. We will come back soon 100/100

We have had a cabin near Fancy Gap for 25 years. The Fancy Gap Country Store if the BEST addition ever to this little town! Food is always delicious!!! Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Atmosphere is so quaint and wonderful! Thursday night bluegrass jam has grown to an epic level, and we appreciate Mark for organizing this. You HAVE to stop by here if you’re ever passing through!!

We had brunch here. I had the three meat plate with BBQ, Brisket and Ribs and they were ALL VERY DELICIOUS!!! Two sides, potato salad and collards!! They have a delicious small special, BBQ SUNDAE!! It is a cup of baked beans, slaw and BBQ ON TOP. There were seven of us and we all enjoyed it. Mark, the owner and his wife are so friendly!! Go see them!!

Where do I begin? Everything about this place was top notch.
We got BBQ Sundae - A cup filled with BBQ, Mac & Cheese, Slaw, Baked Beans & pickle. We also got Banana Pudding for dessert.
AND as we ate Banana Pudding our spoons changed colors 😁

We came from NY on a month long road trip. This place serves the best bbq and sides. I started with espresso ice cream, then ate the entire brisket platter w/cole slaw beans and country cabbage. I was hangry when I walked in but the hospitality and bbq made my night. I expect to sleep like a baby with a very full stomach. Quality ingredients and love went into making all that food ♥️♥️♥️

Complete impromptu ice cream run - but boy howdy, I saw the 1/2 chickens coming out of the smoker and you need to get up and try it - samples sauces awesome- the chicken was obviously fall of the bone moist on that platter. The ice cream was excellent in quality and 1 scoop was MORE than enough. Will be a repeat road trip because I gotta try that burn tip platter.

Stopped here for a sandwich, bbq brisket, super good and ice tea before the Blue Ridge Pkwy drive. Food was super, service fantastic and the eating area very very clean, great prices too. Highly recommend!!

Great little store, and the food was amazing! I got the smoked chicken, baked beans and mountain cabbage! Would definitely go back again!
