Old place. You will know it when you walk thru the doors. My friend's catfish looked good, but I got the chicken liver special and they were fried beyond eating and it was mostly little hard pieces. The clerk asked if they were good. I advised no that they were way over cooked. She advised they were training a new cook. I believe as a waitress, I would have looked at them b4 serving. I wished I had taken a photo.

Charming little diner. Had a bacon cheeseburger. It was excellent, hand pattied, French fries were crispy. Staff and owner were great. A very nice couple offered to pay for my meal. Was very appreciated

We came for breakfast. The food was not hot at all. The hash browns are similar in shape and texture to McDs. The sausage gravy tasted similar to flour. Neither would I expect for a place with a hometown feel. The wait staff was very friendly, though.

I first ate here back in 2005, then again in 2022, and my 3rd time Feb 2025. On each visit the diner was clean, service friendly, and the food delicious! I and another friend got the cheeseburger fixed all-the-way with fries and another friend got the pork lion lunch special. Good meal and portion size and a good price!

Nice restaurant that has been in Fancy Gap, VA for decades. It is very popular for breakfast. I had a pancake with bacon. The bacon was crispy but not overdone. The pancake was fluffy and warm. My friend got 2 eggs over easy, bacon, a biscuit and pan fried potatoes. He enjoyed his meal, too. Th waitress was friendly and attentive.

We stopped in for lunch,the burger had no seasoning, very bland just cooked beef. It was extremely cold in the building, all of the staff had to even wear jackets
