Stopped in fir lunch while on the Blue Ridge Parkway. We all had the meatloaf special which came with 2 sides. The meatloaf was excellent. Very good for an older style restaurant ans the price is excellent.

We were given moldy bread for our French Toast. We ask for pancakes instead and they were not good. We also had to pay for our pancakes. The bathroom needed some work.

Bad food. For 12$ I got ‘sirloin’. 3 thin, cold and dry slices of pork with some green beans from a can and industrial fries. Not good.
Old place. You will know it when you walk thru the doors. My friend's catfish looked good, but I got the chicken liver special and they were fried beyond eating and it was mostly little hard pieces. The clerk asked if they were good. I advised no that they were way over cooked. She advised they were training a new cook. I believe as a waitress, I would have looked at them b4 serving. I wished I had taken a photo.

Charming little diner. Had a bacon cheeseburger. It was excellent, hand pattied, French fries were crispy. Staff and owner were great. A very nice couple offered to pay for my meal. Was very appreciated
