Nice restaurant that has been in Fancy Gap, VA for decades. It is very popular for breakfast. I had a pancake with bacon. The bacon was crispy but not overdone. The pancake was fluffy and warm. My friend got 2 eggs over easy, bacon, a biscuit and pan fried potatoes. He enjoyed his meal, too. Th waitress was friendly and attentive.

We stopped in for lunch,the burger had no seasoning, very bland just cooked beef. It was extremely cold in the building, all of the staff had to even wear jackets

Love their food! Their breakfast is top notch, you will love the sausage and eggs. Hamburger steak plate is a favorite of mine as well. Don’t drive into town it’s not going to beat this place!

Over the years I have stopped here several times while riding 52 or the BRP. It never disappoints.
Breakfast is fantastic, but Lordy those hand made cheeseburgers are just stupid good. So much so that I have ridden 100 miles out of my way to get one. My wife and loaded up the dog in the truck one weekend and drove from Lexington, NC to Fancy Gap, Va to have a tailgate lunch.

My family and I vacation in Fancy Gap every October. We always make it a point to visit Lake View several times while we are in town. The folk that run the restaurant are always so friendly and warm.

Great hamburger My next visit 3 weeks later proved the hamburgers are consistently good. I added a piece of butterscotch pie that was fantastic. This pie is old fashion butterscotch which means they made all of it. There was no store bought crust and the filling was made from scratch.

I'm really not sure how this place has 4 stars. I really love to support local small businesses but this place is not even trying. Filthy bathrooms, weeds growing up around the outside, inside is dark and just unclean. Food was just ok. With the condition of the eating area, you have to wonder what the kitchen looks like.
