It is one of the healthiest places to eat in the Hillsville/Fancy Gap. Lots of their items are made in-house. Their coleslaw is one of them, and my personal favorite. Their veggie wrap always has fresh and delicious produce. As well as their vegetable soup. You can't beat their made from scratch hummingbird cake either. Sometimes, it gets a bit crowded, but it's worth the wait. The staff is always very nice, patience and helpful.

Ok, I don’t usually say this, but I frigging love this place. The best Ruben along the Blue Ridge Parkway! Small rustic deli in Fancy Gap, NC. A must!

Nice selection of soups, salads, sandwiches and desserts.

One of our favorite road trip stops! The food is always 10/10. We try different things each time we go and are always impressed. From sandwiches, to desserts, sides, soups, fancy iced coffees- the whole fam is always thrilled with their selections. The staff is incredibly warm and friendly and the atmosphere is so cozy. This is seriously a family favorite!!!! Can't think of a single complaint other than it takes us forever to order because everything is so delish we have a tough time narrowing it down;)

This little sandwich shop in Fancy Gap was a delight. I had the club with the soup special, and on a cold day, it hit the spot. I will be frequenting this establishment again when I'm back in the area.

25 cents for a cup of water! are you kidding me! how tacky!

if you’re going to charge a quarter for the cup then add it to your menu prices somewhere, but dont show it to your customer.

been eating here for years and have no complaints about the food or service. very good homemade food.

i refuse to be charged for water! doubt we’ll be back.

Don't let the Deli in the name fool you. The sandwiches are fantastic, but so was the soup, and there was so much more on the menu. Definitely worth a stop.

What an amazing little hidden gem!!Stopped in on our way back from NC. Saw a food review on TikTok of this place. Never knew it was here and we drive by Fancy Gap several times a year! The hubs got the golf club with the loaded potato soup, and I got the Foggy Gap Wrap. Both were made fresh. The soup was some of the best potato soup we've had! Definitely will be back again soon! Tea was made fresh and perfectly sweetened, not super sweet. The unsweet was good as well. Food came out pretty quick. It was clean and decorated nicely! Small quaint place! Service was ok.
