Stopped in fo a quick look. Unsure if the business model has changed or if it was because this location shared space with Longwood University, but the selection of books was severely lacking. Did not find anything that grabbed my attention. the University part of the store took up more space which was of no interest to me as I am an Arizona State fan and went to NAU.

Bottom line: Horrible customer service. I don’t know why I still even try to get my textbooks here. I definitely won’t be getting them here again. They never have my books, they ALWAYS mess up the payment, and the workers always seem annoyed at EVERYONE. I’m super unimpressed. Also, the building is at a horrible location. They should have kept it in the midtown plaza. This new building is crammed and crowded. Also, it’s a long way to walk from campus, especially if you’re carrying books. Do yourself a favor and don’t get your textbooks from here. Order from Amazon, it will save you time, money, and the headache of going to this laughable excuse of a Barnes and Noble.

The selection of books was terrible. I didn't expect them to have a ton since it is a campus bookstore but they hardly had anything.

Although it’s now summer break for Longwood University, the Barnes & Noble there still is operating and more than a bookstore. There were several sections in the store adjacent to the Starbucks Coffee cafe. A couple examples were school supplies and literary books. Today was my first visit there. Although it was almost empty, the cashier was there and asked if I was ready to make a purchase. Fortunately, I found a mini notebook there that would be very handy for taking notes for a Farmville VA real estate business!

Ema was amazing at least I think that was her name, she was so helpful friendly and welcoming... my son is going to be a freshman this year in longwood and she even made him feel more confident and excited about his choice where else do you get such friendly professional service??? She also had green hair just incase we got the name wrong she will know who we mean... thank you!!!

I have spent hundreds of dollars at this bookstore for university textbooks. I’d rather drive an hour and a half away and go somewhere else. I had a book that I needed and it was on back order for AN ENTIRE SEMESTER and I’m at the end of the course and still have no book. My other textbooks didn’t come about a month into the semester, when homework assignments were piling up because I did not have the book I needed, and had already spent my textbook money to buy the books that weren’t there yet. My grades were affected due to this books stores super late shipments. The staff are insanely nice and helpful, it’s just everytime I need help all I hear is I’m so sorry I can’t help you. I would have thought after four months of a semester the book would have came in by then. Hope this helps!

Good service, polite workers, and everyone is eager to help. Plus, the Starbucks cafe has some good food available. All the favorites. I recommend the donuts ?

Not very happy that when my daughter’s books shipped they had substituted two used with new at a much higher cost. $200 for a Spanish book to use one semester, ripoff! The “disclaimer” about their right to substitute new for used should have been the first clue ?. Will order books from Amazon from now on.

Great place to get your books and supplies. Always clean, and a great cafe to boot!

NEW B&N @ Longwood! Lovely new place where the old Bank used to be. Much more space. More room for Longwood stuff! I worked there temporarily. Good service here as usual. You cannot use your Starbuck card here even though they sell their products.

This is a small but nice B&N Cafe in Farmville. Not much in terms of selection, but what they did have was good. Has a Starbucks inside and they made a very good drink for my wife and I. It is a college bookstore too, so lots of Longwood clothing and memorabilia. It is situated right near the university and it an easy walk from there.
