Totally knocked it out of the park on your Thanksgiving 'Leftovers'! Glad to get them Wednesday-made our gobbling easy! Just before the power outage of TurkeyDay 2025;) โจ๐๐ป๐ฆ๐๐ฅ๐๐ปโจ
My daughter and I ate there a couple of weeks ago and it was awful! I was very disappointed because I normally love this restaurant. Our bill was over $100 for three of us, one being a child. Very disappointing!!! and such a waste of money especially with the cost of things these days. That will probably be my last visit there. Do not recommend...
Our group of 7 thoroughly enjoyed the Date Nite special and the Reuben. A seriously great idea you have there. Everything was delicious and beautifully plated. Our server, Selena, was top notch -professional, prompt, and courteous. She double checked on questions we had. Her beautiful smile and friendly interaction with us made it a lovely evening for our family. ๐
The red pepper crab soup was delicious!
My husband said that the ribs were some of the best he's ever eaten! Refills on drinks were abundant. It is a Large facility so bring your patience while waiting for your food.

Ambiance great, service was slow but they were very busy. Crab dip and crab soup out of this world blended with roasted red peppers makes the flavors burst in your mouth ribs fall off the bone
. I'd steer clear of the steaks mine was supposed to be medium rare but was very tough and over cooked fatty too, every thing else was very good, I would eat there again

Great burgers! Pretzel with dip was excellent!
All around great place. Had a small business/lunch meeting and there was plenty of room that we weren't bothering anyone and no one was bothering us. Food was great as usual and service was spot-on. Our waiter knew when to be there and when not to, he gave us our space but was there when we needed him.

Macado's had kitchen problems and the hostess referred us to Charley's.
We were greeted by high ceilings and a friendly wait staff. My friends got sandwiches and I ordered the Cobb salad. We had a good time.
Now there are 2 places for us to visit when passing through Farmville, Macado's and Charley's.

Charley's is like the idea of a good restaurant as conceived of and staffed by people who have never visited or worked in a good restaurant in a competitive market. They're clearly trying but it's just kinda off.
The crab dip was good, the baguette that came with it was hot and fresh. Nice start. Next came my salad. It was curiously flattened with a sprinkling of cheese on top. Sure looks like they made and plated all the salads during the prep shift and actually covered them with plastic wrap and maybe even had them stacked on top of each other. Like, why? Is this a convention center banquet?
Then our mains arrived. My steak, ordered rare, was a thin slice of beef cooked to a uniform dull grey all the way through. It was bizarrely served on top of several pieces of lettuce, which rapidly cooked and wilted under the heat of the steak. Why was that lettuce even there?
It came with two pats of butter in plastic packaging, as well as a plastic tube of sour cream for the accompanying baked potato.
My date had the crab soup. It was too salty to even consider finishing, and she barely managed four or five spoonfuls. Maybe today's batch was just an outlier but they should have tasted it and could have fixed that with the addition of cream.
Imagine a meal at a Holiday Inn hotel restaurant in 1989 and that was sort of the overall appearance and taste of this meal. It might be fancy to someone who has only otherwise eaten at diners and fast food joints, but does not live up to the appearance of the dining room (great looking space!) and the prices on the menu. $80, including tip and without alcohol, is a bit much for a meal with all the charm of a trip to a Golden Corral.
The front-of-house staff were all great. This place could be good, but they need to either hire some cooks with experience at nice restaurants in larger markets or have their people stodge at those kinds of places to learn how to prepare food at an expensive restaurant in the 21st Century.

The "Date Night" special is a phenomenal deal! Salad, main course, and dessert with either wine or an appetizer for $43 is well worth it. The French bread served with the crab dip is fresh and delicious. Salad is hard to go wrong. The entrees were okay, did not seem as quality as the appetizer and cheesecake dessert, but Jordan's friendly and experienced service made our lunch visit that much more delightful ?
