Effingham used to be one if my favorite restaurants in town. The chicken and waffles were the stuff of legend. But it's changed and not a good way. They charge top tier prices for mid food at best. Exs: their salmon and grits taste like came from an instant packet, just add hot water ($26). Their chicken and waffles are served with packets of Smuckers Breakfast Syrup, made with high fructose corn syrup and no actual maple ($28). Either lower your prices or improve the food...
Restaurant is located 1st floor inside the hotel!

While I appreciate the appearance and attempt at making it classy the service and skill did not match! It is not bad food, but definitely not for the price!

Amazing restaurant in Farmville Va! The food is absolutely to die for especially with there new summer menu. And the service is impeccable and does everything they can to create an enjoyable experience!
