The food and beverages here are unique & delicious! I basically let the owner/ “inventor” choose the drink and dinner (a scallop special with an eggplant hummus)….YUM!! I cannot say enough about how good this place is…do not miss it if you’re in. FarmVille VA!!!

Service and atmosphere were very nice. However, the food was disappointing, especially after reading and hearing others' positive reviews. Burrito filling was tasty but the "chorizo dip" that goes with it was cold and didn't really have any flavor. Beans were okay but all we could taste was cumin. Guacamole was not super fresh and had already started to turn dark. The chips also seemed like they had been cooked quite some time ago. Really wanted to enjoy the meal but it just didn't happen.

Driving through town, stopped for a quick bite. The food was mediocre and my chicken was undercooked. We all had upset stomachs for the rest of the day after that meal. Quite disappointing.Edit: Had to edit this review given and give 1 star across the board due to this owner becoming defensive and making up stories instead of thinking something along the lines of, I don’t know, how can I rectify this and improve my business? Or just offer a sincere apology? Perhaps I would have edited my review in the future.Vegetarian options: There were not many options. Maybe two or three dishes.

Consistent great service and great food. The daily specials are creative and well executed; the core menu is varied and well composed. Cocktails are superb, beer selection is top notch. As our cousins in England say, this place is tip-top.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options are available. I'm told they are in line with the place's overall quality.

I was excited to try this restaurant as I got a recommendation from a friend. Upon arriving the service was friendly and the atmosphere was nice. I ordered the salsa flight and blistered peppers to start. To call it "traditional" salsa when it's literally cut up tomato chunks is laughable. The "pineapple salsa" was just canned pineapple's essentially, no tomatoes. The blistered peppers were bland with no mexican flare seasoning, just salt and pepper. For dinner I got the chicken and chorizo tacos and paid $14 for two tacos, so I would at least expect them to be decent. They tasted like cardboard with no seasoning whatsoever, and the corn tortilla wasn't even cooked which made the problem worse. Maybe they had an off day, but I wouldn't recommend for paying almost $40 with nothing satisfying.
Driving through we stopped here for a meal. Maybe it was an off day - the food was meh, the prices on the north side, the dish sizes on the south side, and the atmosphere was like none. The waitress was new and pleasant - hope she lasts!

Get the Chorizo Dip, Bur-itas and burgers. I think I spelled that right... great selection of bourbons and even better selection of tequila. But, the all time favorite is the Prickly Pear. It's a must have!Chorizo QuesoMckay Burger

We love trying new places when we are out of town, the bartender knew his mixes & the nachos knocked our socks off... GO!

We had heard that 119 was a bit different and it was. We called in for dinner on a Tuesday evening. There were only a couple of other people in but we ended up having a long chat with everyone plus the owner and waitress. The owner and his wife are very keen on finding artisanal chefs and drinks in Mexico which inspire their cooking. I had the special of the day - pieces of catfish, fried and with a salad and lime dressing. Beautifully cooking and all the flavours coming through. My friend had a burrito of beef, cheese, onion, potato which said was excellent. Main event for me though was being inducted into the delicate smokey flavours of Mezcal by the owner. Tried three, all different, all delicious and far better than the ones I have tried elsewhere on our trip. Many thanks for a memorable evening though I doubt I will find much Mezcal back in the UK!

Wonderful staff, great food, awesome libations. Love dining at one19. Only wish it was bigger and open more days.
