Being seated was slow after the Friday night rush. Food was tasty but took 1.5 hours to receive salad & soup 30 mins, then a small maki plate 30 mins, then 30 for the main course with rice was luke warm to a cold plate.

Beautiful place, they have quiet lovely music playing in the background it's an amazing place. The service is always top notch and the food is the best!! I've been here multiple times and am never disappointed they are such a small space here in Farmville but a must visit in my opinion
Was traveling through with work and dropped in and their seaweed salad and Rainbow Roll were great. The free fried wontons with dipping sauce were a great touch. I will be back.
Shrimp and chicken on this visit. Food was fair, nothing that I would just crave and definitely have to have again. Food quantity was above normal was just lacking a lot of flavor. Service was excellent!

Shogun may be me and my husband's top favorite restaurant in Farmville—excellent for a nice date night. Quiet, upscale atmosphere (don't be fooled by the exterior), excellent service, and delicious food. Some of the menu items are a bit pricey, but we like the yakisoba and hibachi options—you can get a lot of food for $13-18. They start you off with crunchy fried wonton chips and yum-yum sauce, and then bring tasty clear onion soup and green salad. Finally you get the entree with a side of rice. We always need a box to take home leftovers.
Well worth the visit. Great food, and is a good amount. Reasonable price on food and drinks.

I've been living here for years went to this restaurant about 15yrs ago wasn't impressed being a native NewYork and having frequent Benihana's I had a standard to compare to. I just went back out of curiosity and was totally impressed,I've been there 3times since. It's nice to have a good Japanese restaurant in little old Farmville Va. Enjoy
