Have been here several times over the last 2-1/2 years. While the food quality and portions have gotten progressively worse, there really is no excuse for the kitchen staff not reading an order ticket. Server did what she had to in order to cover for them, but in the end the kitchen staff failed… and failed hard.
Ordered the OG philly. The roll they used is fantastic. Not a single even tiny thing wrong with it… but if you are going to use a roll of that caliber, you need to fill it proper. Not use a small amount and try to stretch it. What was there was good. It really was, but I ordered no onion and add mushrooms. I did not see a single mushroom, server said she went back and asked and the kitchen claimed they chopped them up with the meat. Nope. First… who even does that?? No rational human I know. Second, after ten years in a kitchen, I know full well and good what a mushroom looks and tastes like, in many many forms. There were no mushrooms, and a ton of onions. If the kitchen couldn’t see the no onions, I find it hard to believe the saw the add mushrooms.
Server attempted to charge me for it anyway.
The server did a great deal of just standing around, not her job. At the bar chatting, leaning on it as if it was holding her up.
Over time the service and food has gone downhill. Waaaay downhill. I hope they improve. I really do. I like the place… and let’s be honest here… decent places are rare in Farmville.
I was traveling!!!! The karaoke and fud was amazing 👏. Shout out to the dj, and my awesome waitress!!!!
We visited on a Saturday afternoon during Memorial Day weekend—typically a busy time—but the place was dead. We chose this spot specifically for its advertised vegan items like crispy tofu bites and Impossible burgers, which were clearly shown on their website. But when we sat down, we were told the menu had just changed, and those items were no longer available. They did manage to find some leftover tofu in the back, and to be fair—it tasted pretty good. But this wasn’t what we came for, and the lack of transparency was frustrating. Originally, they had advertised Impossible burgers with vegan mayo and vegan cheese, so when they said they could make us tofu burgers instead, I immediately started wondering: are the mayo and cheese still vegan? It seems unlikely they’d keep those on hand but ditch the burgers. I didn’t want to argue with the staff—especially not with hungry kids at the table—but that’s part of what made the experience stressful. As a vegan, you want to trust the food is what it's claimed to be, and this left a lot of doubt. It feels like this is a restaurant that once added vegan options to attract customers but wasn’t fully committed. This is a reminder to always call ahead and confirm—especially when traveling. And if you’re local, support places willing to experiment with being vegan-friendly spots early and consistently, or they might pull those options without warning. I hope the owners either recommit to having real vegan offerings or at least update their online menu and listings to avoid misleading people.
We just had lunch there. We were greeted when we walked in. The waitress brought the menus and took our drink orders which she brought pretty quickly. She also answered some of my questions when she came to take our orders. We were there for a late lunch (close to 1:30). It took a little while for our food to be served. However the cup of soup was hot (and delicious) as were the boardwalk fries. My biggest complaint was there was just a few broken crumbles of bacon on my BLT and my husband's bacon/turkey/avocado wrap. I did mention the lack of bacon to the waitress when she checked on us and refilled our drinks. I would go back and give it another try...if not only for the soup (roasted red pepper and gouda)!
service sucked, owners are douchebags as well, overworking employees and just generally being a bad work place, no wonder this place is failing, do not eat here.
(not to mention the food is terrible)
The chef made my burger exactly how I needed it.
Decent bar food. Draft beer collection was just alright.
We've visited twice and both times the service was so slow. The last time we were sitting for over an hour before our food finally came out for our table of 4.

Food was excellent. The service was slow and we came in on a Sunday, not a single tv had a football game on.

Everything was excellent. The street tacos were spot on and the wings were very good. The long island was definitely hitting just right.

Good beer selection, friendly staff but if you order a burger well done you can expect it to come out medium rare. The flavor was decent and I’d be willing to give another shot in the food department if I went back.

I called 6 times over a period of 30 minutes (3 to 3:30pm) trying to order some food for pickup. Nobody answered the phone any of the times I called. Needless to say I took my business to North Street Press Club. North Street answers every time and has great customer service. I shouldn't have to fight for a business to take my money. Go to North Street if this place won't take your business, they have almost all the same food.

They worked very hard to accommodate my gluten allergy although I am not sure they were very successful seeing as how I doubled over in pain almost immediately after eating. The Brussels could be better

I’ve been going to Brew House for a few years now and I can’t recommend it more! The food is awesome. I highly recommend the Mac and Cheeseburger (all of their burgers are amazing) and their tater tots! Jackie and Caleb are always so nice and they take such great care of me every time. Karaoke nights on Thursdays are a day you don’t want to miss; Greg is the best karaoke guy in town!
Kid-friendliness: Brew House is a kid/family-friendly environment. They have kids menus as well.
Wheelchair accessibility: There are tables that are accessible to wheelchairs, and the entrance is wheelchair accessible as well!
