I really enjoyed the food here. The service was also quick and friendly, we were seated right away.
The crab and spinach dip was very cheesy creamy delicious, as was the sourdough bread bowl it's served in. Im only disappointed that there wasn't more of it, not much of the bread is scooped out so the actual dip amount is just what you see at the top.
I had the Super Fly chicken sandwich, and that was very good too. The chicken was nice and crispy and the other toppings were a great combination. I had a little extra bang bang sauce in it and that was perfect.
Others at the table had the Cheaapeake burger (bery good if you like the crab dip), the Hostess Burger (my nephews second favorite burger of all time, and he's particular), and the Philly Cheesesteak (huge portions).
We would go here again for sure!

Macaroni side, bang bang shrimp, smoked sausage all great. More sweet/classic/smoky/kc sauce options needed! Personally, didn't care for the 4 sauces at our table on pork bbq bun and the other guest didn't either. They were something Carolina (vinegary is automatic elimination for some of us), something hellfire hot (meant to singe you), a texas spicy one that we enjoyed in a very small amount due to being so spicy, and a way-too-sweet memphis bourbony one. The pork bbq without the sauce was unremarkable. We appreciated clean bathrooms, great service and atmosphere. There are good things to be found here.

Fantastic gem in this area. Something that stands out. Stop here on the way through Virginia in a area with not alot of varieties. Food was excellent and the service was great. I had the catfish and it was excellent

The bartender was nice. Ribs undercooked on rib night. Potatoes in potato salad we undercooked. The Mac and cheese was over cooked. The catfish was OK.

At first we were told it would be a 45 minute wait, but then we were seated outside within 10 minutes. The wait for the food however was kind of long. They use peanut oil according to our server so that limited what I could eat. The bbq was good, the catfish was good according to my fiancé. It just took almost 45 minutes for it to come out and when it did come out it was not hot, luckily because the server set a plate in front of our one year old who immediately grabbed the catfish.

We arrived at 6pm. There was a 30 min wait, we looked at our watch and said we will sit at the dessert bar. We could see the food being expedited. We ordered drinks and the better than bang bang shrimp appetizer. Drinks came, shrimp came within minutes. We were amazed how fast. We ordered the 1/2 lb hostess Burger and the brisket hoagie with cheese, when the shrimp came. We drank our drinks, finished the shrimp and sat waiting. 630pm rolls around no food. Waitress ask if we wanted more drinks. 640pm no food. At that point I was watching to see when our food would come up to be bought to us since we could see the expedititor. 643pm a burger is put under the heat lamp, I kept my eye on it as I hoped it would be the one I ordered. It sat there, 10 mins later fries got added. It sat and 5 mins later the brisket hoagie came up to the window. Cheese was added to the hoagie while was under the heat lamp. Another 2 min went by and the food was brought to us. The hoagie was accepted as is cheese not melted. I refused the burger on the first point being, it sat under the heat lamp for 17 mins before it was brought to me. The waitress got a manager. He came over and I expressed to him that I did not want food that been under a heat lamp for 17 mins firstly. Second the patty on a $16.00 1/2 lb hamburger looked like a preformed frozen patty and less appealing than something I would get for 6.00 at Hardee's. It looked like a child's plate burger. He did offered to remake the burger, I didn't want to wait for another one. I don't mind paying for food at the price point being charged as long as the quality is there. Don't do a burger if you don't want to do quality fresh burger. The rest of the food is great. Love the bang bang shrimp. Btw the reason for the almost 1 hour wait for our food was they were waiting for the brisket hoagie to be made. Strangely enough the people next us at the bar ordered the same brisket hoagie and their food came within 15 mins.
