The Virginia Tasting Cellar

Love this place. This will be a new hang out spot for us. Wonderful atmosphere- dog friendly. Hope to figure out how to post a picture.

On Easter Sunday, we stopped at VA Tasting Cellar on a trip thru Virginia. We could not have had a better experience. The food and drinks were delicious. The servers, Briar and Terri, were fantastic. They were very friendly and attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit!

Briar and Terri were the BEST hosts! My friends and I stopped on our way to a work trip and found ourselves so well taken care of by these two!! Highly recommend visiting!

My partner and I cherish this place and the scenic view it boasts. Friendly and personable staff, with an abundance in variety of wine to choose from.

You have to do better than opening at 4PM on a Friday.

I have never in my life ever experienced such bad customer service. We come here ALL the time and love it, but we will absolutely not be back. We had a large party and were told we could move some chairs together outside. After we did this, a different girl who works there said “we need you to not move the furniture, and put it back where it was” to which I very nicely replied “oh I’m sorry the other lady told us we could move it”. She then said “no she didn’t”. I was in such shock that she spoke back to me like that implying that we lied. My father in law knew what the original woman told us about moving the chairs and he is the calmest quietest person who would never make that up. We then walked inside to ask how we could sit together for a party of 8 and the same girl proceeded to LAUGH at us and refused to apologize or believe what we said. She still hasn’t apologized and continued to laugh and has piss poor customer service. Please, do something about this. We have had a bridal shower here and loved it so much until this incident and we won’t be returning until she’s gone. And we will also be telling everyone else we know who loves it about this incident. Customer service is so important and you should never ever imply a customer is lying and talk so aggressively to them. Again, this was the rudest I’ve ever been spoken to by someone and I was absolutely baffled by the inability of her to apologize and LAUGHTER at us.

Great place to go relax. Great atmosphere. Great service. Food is always great.
The flights are well thought out and selection is fantastic.

Loved the crab dip, and we really enjoyed our bottle of wine.

We are having my rehearsal dinner here and came to check it out and had the best time! The space is beautiful and even has an amazing outdoor area that faces the river. The staff was so lovely and Susan was so friendly and helpful! The wine was delicious as well. Can’t wait for our rehearsal dinner.

This place is really nice with very kind staff, great wine, and a relaxing environment, it is just a disappointment that the manager has a severe dislike of even well behaved dogs. It’s a bit surprising to me in a town right next to the High Bridge Trail and other hiking trails as well as having an outdoor space AND a separate outside only entrance. When I inquired about bringing a pet I was met with clear fear of their manager being upset about “a dog around” which made me sad for the staff. I would come here way more after a bike or hike if I could, try this place for sure but we aware dogs are aggressively not wanted.

Beautiful views from the patio onto the river. Super friendly staff. Highly recommend stopping in. While your there take a picture with their love sign made of corks. The love sign is 1 of 3 virginia loveworks signs in Farmville. Ps....Try the strawberry wine. Toast***clink..clink...clink
