The delivery driver literally put my food on the ground on the front porch in the rain, didn’t say a word to me and drove away. I get that it’s his last delivery but this is the reason I tipped. He didn’t even knock.

We’re accustomed to authentic Italian cuisine, and this place did not disappoint! We ordered the manicotti, baked ziti, chicken parmesan, and their meatballs — every dish was delicious, and the sauce was absolutely perfect. The salads were fresh, and everything came out at just the right time.

Our server, Ian, was helpful, attentive, and made the experience even better.

We’re disappointed we don’t live closer since we’re from out of town, but this restaurant is truly a hidden gem that we’ll remember. Highly recommend to anyone who loves genuine Italian food done right!

Two days ago there were about 13 or so of us there for lunch. Folks from North Carolina to Pennsylvania came and since I am from the area, and they are mostly of Italian ancestry, I suggested your restaurant. Solemn occasion, but nonetheless our experience was as amazing as I knew it would be. Tables were ready for us when we arrived. I apologize that I did not get the servers name, but she was perfect. Attentive and friendly. And the food came out in amazingly short order and all together! What a feat for so many people. And the food! It was so delicious and we even had a professional chef with us who loved the food. This was an important time for us all, for we had lost a loved one, and your restaurant was amazing. Thank you for being the great place you are!

Very friendly have always loved this place food is out of this world would definitely recommend to anyone looking for real Italian food it is a bit pricy but for a good reason the portion sizes are massive I always get the chicken Alfredo I think it’s like 14 maybe I don’t remember but it’s like a massive dinner bowl for that much and for lunch it’s the same size but cheaper it’s crazy I love this place hope they stay in business for good

My wife and O ate at the restaurant in Front Royal,Va. She ordered a steak and cheese sub no lettus,no peppers, no onions and no mushrooms....guess how it came out? The onion rings that came out with it were soggy and warm. I didn't want to risk eating the spaghetti, so I thought I'd play it safe and just get a Greek Salad...boy was that an even worse disaster!! A bowl full of lettuce (traditional Greek salad has no or very little lettuce in it), no cucumbers, no red onions, Roma Tomatoes (tomatoes are supposed to be cherry tomatoes 1/4 quarters)and dry as a dessert cheese topping ( Feta cheese is supposed to be stored in liquid until you use it). The dressing tasted like Kraft Italian dressing ( traditional Greek salad uses olive oil, red wine vinegar, oregano and a little garlic). I only ate it because when ever I speak up about a shitty meal my wife takes the side of the restaurant!! No more Castiglias for us!!

Great Italian food. Generous portions, excellent sauce. The Caesar Salad was great and of course they have nasty good desserts. I would recommend this place.

I order a chicken, spinach and mushroom over pasta dish with alfredo sauce. The serving was huge but it was surprisingly bland. The chicken breast filets had zero seasoning, they looked almost boiled and their Alfredo sauce was just boring. It needs a zing.

The atmosphere was very quaint and appealing and my partner's steak and cheese came out very quickly.. I was still eating salad and he was half finished with his sub when my pasta came out. They should have come out together. Their french fries that came with his sub were fresh, hot and obviously brand new. They were very good.

I'll go back, but I won't be ordering that again.

As an addendum, I've ordered their carbonara for carryout before and it was very good. This is the first time I dined in. They have a large selection on their menu and in looking forward to trying something else.

Judy and I absolutely love Castiglia's in Front Royal. Natasha and her entire staff treat us like family and are always warm and welcoming!!! Everything from their perfect pizza, subs to entrees and delicious specials are prepared exactly to our liking, even when we ask to customize are selection. Castiglia's is our favorite eatery and always our first choice for lunch or dinner!!! Thank you Castiglia Italian Restaurant!
