Kudos!! Team, owner, all! Giving the best wine experience!
This is an edit from a previous review where I had given Glen Manor five stars; I am revising this to four stars. The reason for this is their apparent preference for selling cases of wine over keeping long-term customers happy. My wife and I were avid and frequent customers and we sent a lot of folks their way. About two years ago I realized that we were no longer getting their newsletters about events at the winery (which were always fun). I was told that we had not purchased a case of wine over the past year and so we had been removed from their mailing list. Just like that, we were disappeared.
I assume the wine is at least as good as it was back then (that is, excellent) and their tasting room experience is great (no kids, no dogs, no booze-cruise limousines). Just don't go expecting to be appreciated in the long run.
Very rude staff and wine wasn’t even good. Much better choices in the area for wine and hospitality.
Best winery visit I’ve experienced! We had a lovely tasting and enjoyed hearing all about the personal stories and history behind the farm and Vineyard. We then shared some wine outside with a great view. Couldn’t recommend more!
Lovely family run vineyard! Great views, fantastic staff, and good wine
One of Virginia's finest wineries. Don't miss this one. Great wines 🍷, great service and beautiful views!!
Fabulous as always!
The Glen Manor Vineyard team never fails to shine and let's never forget the wine is exceptional! We are 10-year regulars and I can honestly say we have never had a bad experience....heck, we've never had a visit that wasn't like coming home to friends and family we love! Recommend for ANYONE who hasn't had yet the pleasure of GMV's hospitality.
Very nice personal feeling vineyard, staff is very friendly giving a great history and explanation of the wines and farm. Wines were all delicious as well as the palate cleanser bread they gave with the tasting. Will definitely be back to get more bottles as well as see the view of their grapevines and skyline drive. Great for couples and double date group outings to enjoy a nice quiet place with great views and wine.
Incredibly friendly. The wine is definitely a labor of love. Beautiful views. Such a wholesome experience.
Absolutely one of my favorite wineries in Virginia. Such a relaxing, chill place with a beautiful view. Love the high quality wine. They let you bring outside food if you like. Dogs are allowed outside. Strongly recommended.

The setting is peaceful & serene. The wines are very nice. It's a plus that you can bring your own food.
Wonderful, dog friendly winery! Beautiful setting and fantastic Sauvignon blanc! The owner’s wife was so friendly, informative and accommodating.
Randomly stopped by this winery during a camping trip and I truly feel this is one of the best wineries in the state! Staff are very informative about the wines and the property, as I asked a pretty simple question and got a full rundown on the history of the winery itself. Not that I'm mad, this winery has some real interesting history behind it so definitely encourage all visitors to ask and learn for themselves. Plus, the wines are genuinely really, really good and I'm shocked I hadn't heard of this winery before!
We had a WONDERFUL experience at Glen Manor this past weekend. Cassie did an excellent tasting covering the history, land and tasting notes of each wine we tried. They had reserved a space outside after the tasting and enjoyed the beautiful view and finally nice weather.
My wife and I and our neighbors visited Glen Manor Vineyards and found Katie friendly and knowledgeable about the wines and the history of the winery. We did a tasting and then bought a bottle to have with our lunch. It is a lovely small winery and we found the wines to be very good. The winery backs up to Skyline Drive and we plan on going back, especially in the fall.
