Chalet 17: None of the 3 TVs were working; the water is brown!; blind in upstairs bedroom broken; light bulb in upstairs bedroom burned out; gas logs did not work; toilet in upstairs bedroom rocked. So we were moved to Chalet 8: coffee maker broken; toilet upstairs leaking; rotten wood around entrance door; TV in downstairs bedroom doesn't work.

I am a city girl, but my grandkids love this place and asked to come here. They love feeding the farm animals and swimming in the salt pool. I only wish they had one room with twin or bunkbeds for the kids.

The picture of the pool is accurate. The pool is clean and is the ONLY thing to do here. Six traveled with a family member on oxygen and children 3 and 8 . Our first day at the pool we did notice a broken table with a rusted bench seat sitting on the ground. It was still there 3 days later. Definitely a hazdard. Next day another table broke and they removed both tables at that time. I saw horseshoe pits that were grass covered. The playground in its day was probably a fun playground; however the train is rickety and not safe. The petting zoo was filthy with 3 pigs, a goat, a duck and chicken that you would not want any child to touch. We walked by but it was obvious it was not intended to be a true petting zoo. When asked about horseback riding which is on their site (oh, the site, it not easy to use and needs updated), they said "oh we don't have horses, now." and recommended another site in the area. When we arrived we had 2 dishwasher pods, 2 laundry soaps and 2 trash bags. When we went to the office to ask for more trash bags they said "we get you started until you can buy your own." No where is this communicated. THIS IS NOT A RESORT! We have camped plenty as a family and had we known this was a CAMPGROUND we would have NOT come for this family vacation OR we would have packed and planned differently. On Tuesday evening we noticed our "Chalet" was warmer than it should be. 74 degrees. We called 3 times and got voice mail from the 24/7 security. We called again the next morning at 5:17 and got someone to answer. Temp was now78. We were told he would send a maintenance person right away. No one. At 6:10. 6:25 and again at 7:19 we called. I spoke to one person finally at 7:19 the other times were voice mails. At 7;19 was told "he hasn't been down yet? Well he comes in at 8 and I will send him right away." At this point the temp inside and outside was climbing. It eventually got to 82 in our cabin before the man came. It was cooler outside than inside.A security guy was driving doing his rounds about 8:15. I ran out and told him "either this is rectified or I want refunded! I am done!" He assured me he would have the guy there right away. When the guy came he said he had come earlier but didn't want to wake us! WE had been calling. We were awake. He then said "if it happened after 4:30 he leaves at 4:30...I wondered about this unit bc it is slated to be replaced." Went to office at 9. Office ladies were kind. I would not recommend this facility

Water is undrinkable. It comes out black initially and hot emits H2S (rotten egg smell) all the time. Rooms are small and it is somewhat dated. The location is nice but we had no cell service and the wifi is expensive

Be very careful on the road to park. You are in the mountains and road is tight 2 lane with many curves and be careful. Park is beautigul when you get to the office. Quiet and serene. Asked for a pull through so not to have to unhook for 1 night. She found us one and we began our move. Roads in the park are really close and tight. We had a pull through but If I wasnt experienced with motorhome it would have been undoable . trees at entrance of sites and sites very narrow. Not much room at all to swing out. Sites are poorly marked so wife had to get out and walk to pedistals to find right one. We got in but tow car was about 1 ft. from the tree to pull out. Dirt roads, site was level and full hookup. Place is ok but be aware of tight spaces.

I visited the Skyline Ranch Resort along with my wife and daughter on Sep (25-27) as paying guest as I'm a timeshare owner as well. It was total disappointment for all of us. The sanitary and cleanliness on chalet number 13 was a prime issue. I took a shower during those two days and I got athletes foot since the shower floor was not cleaned. My wife and my daughter were not comfortable in using the shower. We found a blood stains on one of the pillows. The furniture's and the carpet was outdated. I'm a time share owner and we had been asked to pay several thousands of dollars on 2013 for the ranch renovations. I learned from the receptionist that it has been done for chalet (1-6) only according to her statement. I'm really wondering for seven long years what had they done with the owners money? After hours you call security and no answer. I wondered what should we do in case of an emergency? I would really appreciated if I could see the fruit of my dues we had paid for the renovations sake and stayed at one of the new chalet. I handed the receptionist at the checkout my complain along with the survey on Sep 27, 2020 and expect the management to get in touch with me and nothing happened. A week later I called Anita and learned that she had never received any of my paperwork since they usually document any complains or concerns. So, I left my contact information so she can pass it out to Ms. Bunning Floy the manager to call me. Still nothing happened I really wondered if this is a professional was to run the resort, deal with customers concerns and took the owners money for renovations and sleep on it !!!

Reserved a Chalet for one week (3-10 October 2020) through RCI. Shortly after check-in I had to drive to office to inform them that the phone in the unit was out of service and that the toilet in the main bathroom continued to run after it was flushed. Late afternoon on the day of check-in we detected that the water smelled slightly of sulfur. Water source is a well. Not a big problem, until we noted the water contained a black substance. After letting the water run for a considerable amount of time, I washed out the sink basins and then filled them up. I turned off the water, drained the sink basins and then wiped the basin with tissue. An inordinate amount of black, gritty substance was on the tissues. I wiped the basin with my fingers and detected the grittiness of the black substance and attempted to wash the residue off my fingers with both cold water and hot water. The residue remained. After discussing the water issue with the office, they sent over a maintenance representative to drain and flush the hot water heater to clear the water system. Upon his departure he informed me that the water was running clear. I checked the water in both bathrooms and the kitchen, but the water was not clear. I discussed the water problem with the maintenance representative that was correcting the toilet problem. He said he would flush the hot water tank again; however, he could not fix the toilet. It needed a new mechanism which he had to purchase. He left the Chalet without flushing the water heater a second time. The phone was replaced. I proceeded to drain the hot water tank, but I could not flush it out. The black residue remained but did diminish slightly. I spoke with residents from other Chalets who indicated that the water condition seemed to be a permanent problem. They bathed in the water but did not drink it. My wife and I elected to remain at the resort recognizing that we could not drink the water nor take the chance of using the dishwasher as we found dishes with the same grit on them. The next day we returned to the office and negotiated with them to provide us with disposable plates, utensils, and cups. They were very cooperative and included a gallon of drinking water. We were also informed that the water is perfectly safe, as it is checked by a company almost daily. We were also informed that the water processing company that installed the water system had been contacted and requested to come to the resort to address the water condition. The Chalet was overall clean. Maintenance is nonexistent as evident by rotting wood at the base of the Chalet siding, and around door trim. Plumbing fixtures in the bathrooms and kitchen are terribly rusted and leak profusely at the fittings. The sofa-bed in the living room was so gigantic it was virtually impossible for two people to more around the room at the same time. The TVs in the living room, and bedrooms were hooked up to a satellite system, but the DVD player installed in the living room could not be activated. Cables were either missing and/or the instructions provided in the Resort Directory are incorrect. The windows in the unit were almost impossible to open since they had not been maintained for many years. Screens on the windows are damaged. I noted holes in the screens also in my neighbors Chalet. After I was able to open the sliding door to the elevated deck, I discovered it had no screen door. The track for the screen door was present but not the door itself. The wood on the deck needed to be cleaned and treated as it is succumbing to rot due to lack of maintenance. The metal chairs and table on the deck ae rusting and could use some paint. The sun umbrella on the deck has a hole in it and is badly faded. Appears to be dry rotted. The roads in the resort are gravel. They also are in need of maintenance to fill in holes and uneven washouts. My wife and I elected to remain at the resort for a few days because we had paid for a non-refundable tour near the resort. However, we did depart the morning of the fifth day and will not return to this resort even as non-p

Excellent, clean accommodations; very convenient to national park. Staff was very pleasant and saw to any of our needs, even bringing a corkscrew to us o(we forgot to pack our own) minutes after asking.

This place in an absolute joke!!!!! We were promised site 78. We get here and fine out we were moved to 78, because the band needed 78. Well site 78 is still empty. The site they put us on is not big enough at all. The slide out is in the campsite beside us and our awning is 3 inches from the camper on the other site. Not to mention we are in the middle if run down campers where the doors have been open to whole time and I am told those are the rental lol.

This is our first experience here at this campground. The cons are unfortunate. This campground was probably a fantastic place on initial opening years ago, but would take some renovation and new management to get this place to its full potential. I’ll start by saying the older gentleman that has the position of gatekeeper and security is very pleasant and nice. He kept unrulys in order, but very polite and friendly. The pool area is nice. It’s a salt water system with a walk-in tanning area. There’s a splash area at the low end for little ones. That’s about it for pros. Cons are the campsites are very close together and a lot of permanent residents that like to accumulate things at their sites. The hookups for dumping tanks are at the rear of the site, so make sure you have at least 3 hoses to reach. The water hookup isn’t an issue, but the water is. The water has an orange tint as if the main pump is sitting at the bottom of the well. Do not drink the water. Toilet even stained brown. The electric used to be 30 amps and it appears new 50 amp wiring was installed to the sites. However, it appears there was no upgrades to the transformer, so it kept throwing breakers and we lost power continuously. Maintenance crews had a fan and cold water running on top the transformer housing to cool it down. The pool is evidently a popular attraction for the entire county, because campers are not solely invited to swim. Area residents can pay admission and fill up the area very quickly. Rainbow of wristbands everywhere. At one point we left the pool early due to being shoulder to shoulder with visitors during an epidemic that supposed to keep us at 6 feet a part; not happening. The next day the pump was not working for the pool and the water was green. No cancellation was made for swimmers though, as the area residents backstroked through the green slimey water. There is a cafe on site that makes quick snacks, but don’t expect to be able to use modern currency, credit cards, this is a cash only amenity. There’s little to no cell service and WiFi is only available if you purchase access daily. Overall, not worth the special trip. Campsites crowded, dirty, tight spaces, with limited electric and muddy water. There are no refunds. Only future accommodations permitted. Good luck and happy camping!

Absolutely horrible management. We got there at 1 yesterday afternoon. power went out twice within an hour. To our surprise the transformer feeding at least 30 if not more campsites was bad for over a month. This place was literally putting many in danger by spraying this transformer with a hose and blowing a fan at it. Once the new transformer got there we were told by a managing partner, Richard, that he was busy and couldn't be bothered with this. He had to go fix som

Well I use some RCI points to rent a two bedroom chalet. Let’s just say that this place was not the greatest. It says that there was a sleeper sofa. Well there definitely was a sleeper sofa. However the sleeper sofa would not open all the way because the room wasn’t big enough for the sleeper sofa. Therefore we couldn’t use it.Chalets themselves were incomplete disrepair. They had rusted metal. Non-latching doors. Rotten wood. Brown colored water coming out of the Fossetts. Fixtures that were broken and dilapidated. We went to go play mini golf. It had nine holes. The Astroturf was all ripped. Broken flags. Overgrown bushes.I could go on and on but it’s not worth my time or your energy to read.
