I was really looking forward to dining at this establishment but I was disappointed from the small space and the not so special menu . The food was so-so and not a place I would return too.

I don't know why there is no text in this old post...
I've been patronizing L'Dee's regularly since 2014. I don't know why I waited so long!
IMO, this is THE BEST place for breakfast or lunch in Front Royal.
Excellent food, staff and atmosphere! Your treated like family(in a good way, lol).
Lots of fresh made dishes/specials and desserts to choose from.
Just be aware, sometimes it gets busy on weekends and occasionally there is a waiting list around lunch time. That's because of how good their food is!

They have also been accepting credit cards for a few months now.
I checked the moderate noise level based on a busy weekend. Most times it's fairly quiet.

Good food with reasonable prices but not happy with all the up charges. Unlike anyone else they charge .25 to add lettuce, .25 tomato & .25 onions to a sandwich. Plus .50 if you ask for onions. They won’t tell you any of this - & only part of it is mentioned in fine print on menu. No deli & most restaurants will not charge for these extras!

This is such a cute spot! Perfect small town feel. I went by myself for a quiet breakfast, and it was very enjoyable sitting at the bar with the regulars. The prices are very reasonable. The pancakes were delicious and the staff were kind. I’d come again!

We went to L’Dees Pancake House after being told it’s a staple brunch spot in Front Royal. With that in mind, we ordered quite a bit.

We got two scrambled eggs that came with turkey sausage links, hashbrowns, and a biscuit. We also ordered a cinnamon apple pancake, a traditional pancake, and the honey mustard chicken sandwich with potato chips.

The eggs were soft and full of flavor, the turkey sausage was tasty, and the hashbrowns were soft as well. Everything was very delicious. The cinnamon apple pancake tasted exactly like the name, we didn’t even need extra syrup because every bite had apple and cinnamon flavor. The pancakes were soft and not too thick. For the original pancake, the staff cut a Christmas tree into the center, which I thought was a really nice touch. Since it’s a plain pancake, syrup is needed, and we went with the maple syrup, which gave it a great taste. Again, the pancake wasn’t overly thick, which I liked.

The honey mustard chicken sandwich was soft, and the chicken was thin-cut, so you don’t get that usual dry meat feeling. The lettuce and tomato tasted fresh and had a nice crunch with every bite. The potato chips were standard, nothing amazing there, but they did the job.

To drink, I had their hot chocolate, which paired really well with breakfast. It was just the right amount of chocolatey and not overbearing. I didn’t add whipped cream, but that is an option.

Overall, this place is highly recommended. Nothing disappointed me, and honestly, from the taste to the prices, everything was great, I wanted to keep ordering, lol. Our waitress was patient and didn’t rush us at all. We got there around 12:30pm (they close at 1:00pm), and they still let us stay and enjoy our meal until about 1:45pm. If I ever find myself in Front Royal again, I’ll definitely be back. 5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Good food, nothing special, but man oh man are they popular. We waited 40 minutes. As much as I love mom and Pop shops, I can't say the food is worth a 40 minutes wait. There are plenty of other options without the wait.

Great little breakfast spot. Get here early on the weekends! Parking is a little tight but there is street parking nearby.

The food and service were very good. Everything was great until I went to pay and the waitress told me they only take cash. The ATM would not work with any of my cards and the waitress became nasty. I left the restaurant, went to another ATM, and then went back to pay. The waitress’ attitude did not improve when I returned to pay. If you’re going to require ONLY cash, it should be prominently posted on the entry door and the menus. I won’t be back.

Stopped at this spot on the way through to West Virginia. We got a little lucky with timing as we got seated right away. Food came out in a timely manner. Waitress was very kind and on top of coffee refills throughout our meal. I thought the meal itself had a good portion for the pancake based dish I ordered. The party I was with got the biscuits and that could have had more portion size. But overall a good dinner breakfast meal
