Good food, nothing special, but man oh man are they popular. We waited 40 minutes. As much as I love mom and Pop shops, I can't say the food is worth a 40 minutes wait. There are plenty of other options without the wait.
The food and service were very good. Everything was great until I went to pay and the waitress told me they only take cash. The ATM would not work with any of my cards and the waitress became nasty. I left the restaurant, went to another ATM, and then went back to pay. The waitress’ attitude did not improve when I returned to pay.\nIf you’re going to require ONLY cash, it should be prominently posted on the entry door and the menus.\nI won’t be back.
Stopped at this spot on the way through to West Virginia. We got a little lucky with timing as we got seated right away. Food came out in a timely manner. Waitress was very kind and on top of coffee refills throughout our meal. I thought the meal itself had a good portion for the pancake based dish I ordered. The party I was with got the biscuits and that could have had more portion size. But overall a good dinner breakfast meal
