Ordered a dulce de leche latte and somehow ended up in a deep conversation about cold brew philosophy. Foam art looked like a waveform of my heartbeat. I left vibrating at a higher frequency. Drum Finger approves [DF🜂]

First visit: cute little place. Was disappointed by the quality of this particular meal however. Both of us had the chicken salad sandwich, one on wheatberry toast and the other on croissant and both agreed it was very bland. Also ordered waffle fries and they were a little more on the soft side, as opposed to crispy. Honey mustard was standard and yummy! Cashier was friendly. Would give them another try. Just a little underwhelmed with this particular visit.

Somehow it took these guys over 40 minutes to make one breakfast sandwich, despite multiple employees being present, and it not being busy at all.
The Daily Grind Café in Front Royal is hands-down one of the best spots downtown. The location is perfect, right in the heart of it all, and even though the place was busy, it never felt chaotic. The flow is seamless, and the vibe is relaxed but full of energy.
The real standout? Sophia. She’s the kind of person who can turn your entire day around with just a smile.. and she somehow managed to do that fourty-two times for us. She’s personable, quick with a laugh, and genuinely connects with everyone who walks through the door. You can tell she loves what she does, and it makes the whole experience even better.
The food was outstanding... so fresh, flavorful, and way better than you’d expect at such reasonable prices. Combine that with the warm, welcoming ambience, and you’ve got the kind of café you’ll find yourself coming back to again and again.
PS: Tell your dog I said hi, Sophia! :)

I really like the variety at this cafe! There are many different baked goods, vegetarian and vegan options, and they have lots of syrups for coffees! Their Gouda Mac n cheese is pretty good and I love that they have multiple soups!

Honestly such sweet girls working here! Also so helpful but this accompanied with delicious bites made fresh in house and some insanely wonderful coffee makes for the perfect afternoon treat! Always have loved this place and don't foresee that changing anytime soon!

This place is a genuine oasis in a desert full of degeneracy. I was seeking a good espresso shop in downtown Front Royal, but found myself instead dodging the many symbols of mental illness found today (rainbow flags, banners, etc). But as I walked past the Daily Grind, the only flag flying was... Old Glory. I couldn't believe it. I gingerly peeked my head in, excepting the worst. But no, just a good, wholesome place. Clean, fashionable, and the staff were... sane! No tattoos. No nose rings. No colored hair. Just cute, hardworking girls making great coffee and food with a (gasp) SMILE!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND. The owners must be awesome. Need more places like this.

Way better than Dunkin’ or Starbucks!
The coffee here is delicious—rich, smooth, and clearly made with care. If you’re tired of the same old chains, this spot is a refreshing change.
While the customer service could use a little polish, it’s not enough to keep me away. The quality of the coffee makes it worth the drive every time. Definitely a hidden gem!

A great little spot. We were traveling home from Shenandoah and love Front Royal. A cute little town. We needed some coffee and did not want a chain store. Found you all just driving by!
Delicious latte! A lot of flavors to choice from. Also added a Blueberry hand pie. Get one, warm it up! Yum!!!
