Main Street Mill Restaurant

We went here after a week lay as a large group and the food was pretty terrible. We got cold chicken fried steak and soup , baked beans too salty to be edible and macaroni salad with no taste. Elven the beer was flat. The chicken salad sandwich was the best item on the menu and the burgers passable. We were very disappointed. .

Vary nice clean employees are fast friendly would definitely recommend

I really liked the atmosphere and the food was really good! I saw it was busy so I figured there was a reason why. YEP! I was right! Next time I come to town I will try the chicken and beef burger. 😋

Had a wonderful dinner here with some friends after attending a nearby fall event at Cedar Creek. I ordered the meatloaf mashed potatoes and collard greens.All of which were delicious. I actually asked the waitress as to whether she preferred the country fried steak or the meatloaf.And although she said she had not tried either because of the gluten restriction in her diet, she did say that the meatloaf was very popular here

After which I promptly ordered the meatloaf and was very satisfied with my decision. The interior has horses on the walls and certainly reminds you of the virginia countryside. Overall, I'd say it's a great little spot on main street. In front royal of which, the first time I'd ever visited. It was a very strong impression of the whole town overall. If i'm ever in the area, I will be back to try something else or for sure try those collard greens again. Thanks. Mill street restaurant for a wonderful experience with friends! When I think of a local restaurant, you guys will be on my mind.

Wonderful food and nice atmosphere! We happened upon this gem traveling from SC to MD. Had the Perfect Pasta (highly recommend!). Great meal of Penne Pasta, grilled Shrimp and Chicken with seasoned veggies and a touch of Marinara Sauce. The Salad was crisp and fresh as well. Hope to pass that way again!

We walked in and were seated immediately. The restaurant was not busy. The waitress came to the table after a few minutes. We ordered our food. Our drinks arrived and then our salads were served. We waited for our entrees to be served. The waitress asked if we wanted dessert and never checked on anything else. We paid and left! The food was mediocre at best.

Stopped in for dinner, ate upstairs in the Tavern. Carl I believe his name is, was the bartender. Super Nice guy. Got the Whiskey Glazed Burger, it was good! If im ever back on town, I will surely stop back in!

This restaurant is absolute garbage. They had us move our whole family dog and unable to walk family member from the back to the front. After giving us our menus and seating us they had us move back to the back. After this they forgot to give us our menus 15 minutes. Once our food was given it was very small and low quality. The green beans were of canned quality and the steak was so well done that my grandma almost lost a tooth trying to eat it. This place was by far the worst restaurant I have been to in well over a year.

It was the worst restaurant that we've eaten at in over a year they messed up our order two times gave us the most dry chewy flavorless steak ever and changed or seats two times do not recommend

Food was absolutely amazing at a very reasonable price. Service was also excellent. Parking was a little limited, but that comes with anything downtown. Will absolutely come here again next time we pass through Front Royal.
