We have brunch here every so often. Authentic Salvadoran food, there are other interbational options as well, although their menu is primarily Salvadoran. The service and food are always great. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. Nice place to take the whole family.

It says in the description, great cocktails. Kids menu. Don't know about the kids menu, but zero cocktails. No alcohol at all. I have eaten and loved all types of Spanish, Mexican, central American, South American food and am a fan. The place is a dive. Yes, you get plenty of food cheap, but I'm looking for better than that. I ordered the chorizo tacos and got beef. Fine, but not what I ordered. My husband ordered a drink which never came. No one came to check and see how our meals were. We sat and waited and finally went up to the counter for the check. We were very much ignored. I left no tip and I don't think I've ever done that.

Mama Chave was a delightful find today. The food was delicious, hot and not greasy. We had 3 pupusas and yucca with chicharron all served with a traditional slaw. Best yucca and slaw I've ever had! Pupusas were generous and delicious.
I had the burrito it was delicious. My husband has pupupusa platter he enjoyed them very much. Sad that we are only passing through.

Amazing all around! Their food was amazing and I’m so glad we found this place for when we visit the Shenandoah area! The carne asada is amazing, the pupusas as well and our favorite dish was the seafood soup! 100 percent recommend !
