Amazing breakfast wish I found it sooner then my last day here

Came thru Front Royal around lunch time and decided to stop here and try it. Service was a tad slow, but I ordered the country fried steak and the plate was good, the portion size was reasonable (not humongous) and overall I think I paid less for here than many chain fast food restaurants. Definitely a win.

Terrible breakfast! Boiled potatoes, undercooked eggs and bacon, gravy is literally just paste, and not a single bit of seasoning/salt and pepper anywhere. How is this a top recommended place??? And the lunch/dinner menu reminds me of a hospital cafeteria. 🤢🤮

My family and I are always eating at Mom's Kitchen. Today, my mom and I stopped by and had lunch. Their lobster bisque was fresh and creamy and their chicken salad was fantastic! I accidentally left my retainers there and the staff held on to them for me, which was awesome as I've had them be thrown out before. My mom loves their BLTs and my step-dad likes their hot open-faced sandwiches. The food is fresh, the service is good, and the prices can't be beat! Really a gem in the area!

Nice little restaurant right near the Blue Ridge highway entrance. Great food, good prices. Fancy electronic ordering by the waitress. Many food options. Entrance is around the side. This was in Oct, 2025. P.S. the Parkway is a $30 fee, unless you got the Fed Parks Pass.

Great little diner, value all the way.
Great staff, very nice, polite and helpful.
Don't expect high end dining but good home cooking. We would definitely visit again.

Disappointing breakfast experience. My cheese and bacon omelet was severely lacking in flavor and execution. The 'bacon' appeared to be more like bacon bits mixed into the eggs, paired with a single slice of orange cheese. The side potatoes were utterly bland—simply cut potatoes with no seasoning. Even adding salt couldn't save the meal. Service was also lackluster; the waitress had no personality. As a fan of small diners, this one unfortunately missed the mark.

It was ok. For the money and the food, I probably wouldn't go back.

This used to be a destination place to enjoy a home cooked dinner and some fabulous pie. However, the quality of the food has deteriorated and the pies were very disappointing. Our roast turkey dinner no longer had nice thick slices of meat, but two shaved and very thin pieces of turkey. The pies were overcooked to the point that my pecan pie tasted burnt. We won’t be back.

Stopped by on the way to Morgantown. The service was excellent. We were greeted and a table was prepared for our group of 7 quickly. Food was ordered and delivered quickly. Prices are very reasonable. I ordered a cheeseburger lunch. Food was good.

Food was excellent. I had the hamburger steak with gravy, mashed potatoes and green beans. My husband had country fried steak, baked potato and green beans. Friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend 😋
