Came thru Front Royal around lunch time and decided to stop here and try it. Service was a tad slow, but I ordered the country fried steak and the plate was good, the portion size was reasonable (not humongous) and overall I think I paid less for here than many chain fast food restaurants. Definitely a win.
My family and I are always eating at Mom's Kitchen. Today, my mom and I stopped by and had lunch. Their lobster bisque was fresh and creamy and their chicken salad was fantastic! I accidentally left my retainers there and the staff held on to them for me, which was awesome as I've had them be thrown out before. My mom loves their BLTs and my step-dad likes their hot open-faced sandwiches. The food is fresh, the service is good, and the prices can't be beat! Really...
Nice little restaurant right near the Blue Ridge highway entrance. Great food, good prices. Fancy electronic ordering by the waitress. Many food options. Entrance is around the side. This was in Oct, 2025. P.S. the Parkway is a $30 fee, unless you got the Fed Parks Pass.
