An out of the way find. We were headed down the interstate and pulled into a Cracker Barrel for breakfast only to find it closed for repairs. We did a quick search and found this little place 15 minutes away. Like stepping back in time, it has the atmosphere of a small town diner, with old pictures of the town from long ago. Great food and super nice staff. Love finding these little treasures.

The restaurant was clean, the atmosphere was great, the service and food were outstanding.
Plus the cost was way less than any chain restaurant.
If you're in the Front Royal area, make sure you stop in for great food and friendly people.

Nice little neighbourhood diner. Good atmosphere and friendly people. The food was okay, I think the kitchen staff was under pressure. Our eggs were a little underdone on 1 side and a little over done on the other side. The home fries were left on the griddle a little too long, almost burnt. Griddle cakes were okay but they don't have real butter. The coffee was surprisingly good, we don't like weak coffee, this had flavour. All in all we would try them again.
Definitely coming back, it's a wholesome vibe when you're here

We stopped here as we passed through the valley. It was cash only at the time, and came out to $55 for 3 peoples lunches (and a slice of cake) before tip. For the price and location, I feel that the food was really quite good. The staff were wonderful and patient with my parents. The service was great and the food was prompt. The menu was similar to waffle house, but with better sandwich and burger options.
Definitely a local diner with a bunch of local people, but they seem happy to serve lots of travellers too. We didn't feel like outsiders.
The only thing our party didn't like was the lemonade. It tasted powdered or something funny.

This place was amazing. To start, very attentive waitresses and very friendly, too. I ordered the homemade lemonade and it was great (a tad sweet for my taste, but still very good). For breakfast, I tried the cinnamon roll pancakes and had a side of eggs and ham. Everything was scrumptious and very reasonably priced. I would definitely go back.
