I’ve always loved Roy Rogers. At this location- the staff is friendly and the service is great. However, since the recent menu changes and new recipes were introduced, the food quality has really declined. The fries, burgers, and chicken just aren’t the same and have lost their appeal. I’m genuinely disappointed, as this used to be one of my favorite spots. Sadly, I won’t be returning.

A little under staffed. Mayo and ketchup were empty ay the bar. Manager gave my wife a hard time when asked if our togo order was ready after we finished our meal we at there. It was just a simple question.

Update: September 17 2025 Yea this is my go to place when I come through Front Royal VA!!! I still remember eating this as a kid. Love coming here.
Thought this place closed down when I was a kid. Had no idea they were still open here. Good food nonetheless!!! Had to check in!!!

For weeks I order food from Roy Rogers theough Doordash. They miss something every time. Sausage gravy with no sausage and pancakes without ayrup. There's nothing to be done because its delivered, so, for the past 2 weeks I've thrown away food that's inedible due to their inconsistencies...

The service was great the food was hot the bathroom with clean the outside the store was clean is actually what you want to see in restaurant
Food was good as always as I frequent Roy Rogers in the area. Service was incredibly slow. Staff was short handed and wait times were very long for simple items. Only 1 person working the kitchen and 2 people up front. Owner needs to ensure they have proper staff to get food out quicker. Locations in Frederick area definitely have speedier service. The milkshakes were not good and I wouldnt get them again when stopping at this location.
