Saga Meadery & Winery is a charming tasting room offering a wide variety of mead, including unique and delicious drinks like the Bourbon Barrel Wildflower and the Strawesome. Although food options are limited, the mead selection includes some good and a few excellent choices. The staff, including the friendly and knowledgeable manager Carwin, provides great recommendations and welcomes guests warmly, even those with dogs. The owner is very nice and helps visitors explore different options. Overall, it's a lovely place to relax, the prices are very affordable, and it’s absolutely worthwhile for anyone on the fence about stopping in. Many guests call it THE BEST place for mead and wine in Virginia and plan to return or visit their other location in Luray.
