Stopped in on our visit to Virginia. This is THE BEST place to go for mead and wine. Hands down 15 out of 10! The owner was very nice and informed us of our different options to pick from. I will be letting family and friends know this is a must spot if they are down in Virginia! We definitely will be back!

Excellent service, cute and clean venue, and some awesome and unique meads and cysers to try! In general, not overly sweet as meads can sometimes be, nor too dry. Tastes were not always our very favorite (we've visited many meaderies), but it is easy to see/taste why the Sunburst Citrus is their flagship mead, certainly lives up to the hype! Sweet Heat has a perfectly-balanced level of habanero spice, and is a unique must-try along with the Sphynx PB&J cyser. Other fruit...

Saga is some of the best mead I’ve ever had with the best customer service! My friends and I walked in with a group of 15, celebrating my fiancé and I’s joint bachelor/bachelorette trip, and Cowan was truly the best host. He was extremely educated on the products they sell and so energetic! Really made for such a fun experience. I would recommend this place any day and will definitely be coming back next time I’m in town!
