The Catamount Lounge
This place consistently attracts artists, musicians, poets, comedians, and creative energy from all over the region. I didn’t even realize it was their 2-year anniversary tonight until I walked in.
They open at 5 PM, and the front is a great dining spot. If you don’t mind live music, poetry, comedy, or a little show-and-tell energy, the back room is its own experience … it feels alive. The staff has always been solid too; some are award-winning mixologists and artists themselves.
Catamount brings a real breath of life to the community. Highly recommend if you want something authentic, warm, and creatively alive.

OMG I love this place. I like country music like any music, but that can't be all there is in the Shenandoah area... Catamount has all kinds of music, and a great more modern vibe than the worn out twang thing. The staff genuinely seem excited, and they want to be there. They were super nice to me... a new guy. Love this place.

Had the best burger I have had in a long time. It was very sloppy, but delicious. The meat was moist, the toppings were generous. Though they explained that we decided our meal choice and then ordered at the bar, a waitress came to our table, took our drink orders, food orders, checked on us and brought us the final check. It was a great experience and great food!

If you’re looking for entertainment and good food/drinks this is the place! We meant to come to the brewery next door and saw they were doing an adult show and tell in there haha. They actually came out and invited us in which we didn’t expect then we found out their food is AMAZING and the bartenders are legit professionals making the best drinks we’ve had in a long time. Not to mention the adult show and tell was suprisingly entertaining. We’ll be coming back anytime we come back to ride skyline drive 100%

Came here from Minnesota and it was the most amazing time. I wish we had this near home!! The staff was friendly and amazing, the menu was fun! Loved trying the different drinks and really enjoyed the atmosphere! Live music and also trivia night- so much fun!!! We will definitely be back when we’re in the area again!
