We thought we would drive to Front Royal to try this butcher shop, visually it seemed cluttered, with lots of stuff, and not a great smell when entering. There was an incredibly loud fan so it made it very hard to hear the worker when we were asking about the beef.
They did have a large variety, we picked up a ribeye and a few sausages.
It wasn't a welcoming space, even had a sign saying not to unfold the shirts that were for sale.
However.... we picked up a ribeye from here and another butcher. And this steak was better. However, I don't know if I would want to shop here on a regular basis.

The bbq is good, I really like the coleslaw. Got a rib eye and was a little disappointed that I didn't get to pick what I wanted. The young lady grabbed one wrapped it up and said here you go. I had just seen her wait on someone else and they picked what they wanted. Guess i should have spoken up. I felt like she was rushing me.It wasn't bad but it had huge chunks of fat running through it. The lady at the register was very nice and very friendly so was the guy that made my sandwich. I'll go back and try again.

The customer service is lacking (read: can’t be bothered), but i’m grateful to have a Butcher that sells local fresh meat. Far superior to grocery store meat.

We buy the sampler with ribeyes. Awesome. We tried their Ruben. One with pastrami and one with corned beef. Both delicious, but I liked the pastrami better

My husband stopped in on Christmas Eve to buy beef tenderloin. He asked the woman to have the butcher remove the silver skin. She said it was already removed and it was an extremely lean piece of meat. She lied. We have a lowsy, fatty cut with silver skin that needs to be removed. As my husband keeps cutting, it's nothing but tough fat. $85 for garbage.
My go to for fresh meats and poultry. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Their deli subs are delicious too! I’m going there today for some smoked ham hocks to make a big pot of beans, our favorite in this chilly weather, yum!

Had a really bad experience today and my favorite and local butcher. I’ve always been given the impression that they didn’t really like to make their subs but got the notice today. I called them to order a sub, trying to be considerate of their time. Once in there got my stuff and went to register. Once I told that I had already ordered she stated was I sure. I’m like I think so, she said it would be a long wait and was I sure . Mind you no one is in the store. She then proceeded to tell me that they had a new worker. This guy has been there 2 months and made my sub multiple times. I miss the days when a business wanted your business.

Went at 4:40pm, they said they wouldn’t cut meat because they close at 6:00pm, so arrive more than an hour and half earlier than close or something, no other butcher is like that
