We visited here for the Burns Supper and we had a wonderful time! The customer service was wonderful and the atmosphere was welcoming. The walls have history on them and its fire pit out back was proven to be great for singing! Thanks yall!

This was the third time I've been to the museum and it hasn't been open. I'm from Newport News and have friends in Front Royal and was recommended this venue. 2 of those days were Sundays I've tried. Today, Dec. 17, was the third try ???. Please update the times you're open.

I had a lot of have fun here. It is interesting to see a place that is based around a specific States history of beer and not just the history of beer. You do have to be mobile if you want to see the upstairs exhibits, but downstairs has enough information for you to enjoy while having a beer at the saloon that sells locally crafted beers inside of the museum.

Funniest place ever. I give 2-3 stars for the museum and 5 for the beer we had after. Great front porch to sip a pint and the staff was friendly.

This guy! A lawyer who owns it found a way to open a beer only place by opening a museum l. Awesome beer. He has a receipt for from President George days. Awesome.

Great place to go if you're interested in Virginia beer history (and there's a lot!) Also a great place to have a beer or two, but you're not looking for a fight to try to get one, and the locals are all cool peeps! Say hi for me!

Scottish festival with guys in dresses. Fortunately the lovely ? ladies provided a distraction. No George Washington beer. Bummer. But had a good time. Entertainment was the typical Scottish dude blowing into a dead cat ?. Bonfire with out of chorus typical Scottish pub songs. What more could you ask for. Oh yes George's beer ?.

Beer is pricey and tastes a bit funky, like the lines and taps could use a good cleaning. They definitely need live entertainment during the weekends and weekdays. UPDATE: Going down hill fast! This place could be an amazing addition to Front Royal if the owner would put some money and energy into the place. The beer is way too expensive, on average $7.00 a glass, the tap lines need to be cleaned and sanitized regularly, the entire place needs to be cleaned and sanitized, the outside area would benefit immensely by having it landscaped with pavers, gazebo, or some other structure to protect customers from the weather, and a stage with good live entertainment performing on it regularly. A nice touch would be a outside grill where hamburgers hotdogs and etc could be offered.

I was heading to Shenandoah National Park and ended up taking a "wrong turn" and I'm glad I did. I saw the Beer Museum sign and the German flag out front and decided to stop in for a beer. The tap room attendant April was an amazing host and made us feel at home right away. The museum also has a great front porch to sit and relax and enjoy the old town charm. I will definitely stop by again the next time I visit!

We love the beer museum. The best selection of beers and always a welcoming place to come and relax. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because they are inconsistent with their hours. We have come by a few times and they are not open. We often decide to not come on a weeknight because we worry they won't be open.
