We went for late lunch/brunch at the brass cannon Sunday for Easter and we loved everything, the ambiance was great because it was not noisy, as it was 2:30pm, we had the best table by the window facing the golf course, our food was excellent, deviled eggs and crab Benedict , and we loved the fact that it was “a la carte “menu and not a buffet, it’s nice to choose whatever a person wants, and we had the best service from our server Pamela :) Thank you !

Order nachos and they have nothing to top it with other than a side of tomatoes…no black beans or guacamole but still charge $14

This is a hidden gem. I often meet clients here for lunch and it’s comfortable, quiet with polished surroundings and views of the lake and golf course. The food never disappoints! Their Club Sandwich is the best I’ve had. Burgers—always spot on. Dinner? The filet or daily specials have only been superb. Shhhhh—keep it a secret as I love the quiet ambiance!

I was there with a large group and the service staff was excellent. The food was great and the ambiance was quite pleasant. Since each person wanted their own check, the waitress handed them extremely well. She was very efficient.

Sandy has created a wonderful selection of food. Everyone in our party of 9 had a different meal, and each person raved about it. The atmosphere is typical Country Club with seating on a lovely veranda overlooking the course. The prices are competitive for this level of cuisine.

Food is a tad bit overpriced for the portions. Plenty of games for the kids to play at the tables. The atmosphere and view are the best things about it. Very friendly staff too!

We went there for a Mothers day brunch and couldn't of been more disappointed in the quality and choices of food. Five adults and two kids was $500 with only three adult drinks and the food was so limited. Having been there in the past we were shocked at the fact the buffet only had one lunch meat and Veg options and neither was great. My kids tried the waffles and Rock hard chicken nuggets which my kids wouldn't eat. My wife and Mother in-law only had shrimp and salad. I not sure what the food is like on a regular basic but I wouldn't recommend this for Mothers Day.

A sublime dining experience. From the atmosphere to the cleanliness to the sheer luxuriousness of the food itself. Hands down the best food outside of the immediate DC area. Service was above excellent as well. My first visit to many restaurants of late has also been my last. This will definitely be the first of hopefully many!Update: While off-golf season is just as described above, in-season is slightly different. The food was almost just as good (the main chef was out sick or something and the quality was slightly less than normal). The main problem (and it was indeed a HUGE problem) was the rowdiness of the very very large groups of inebriated people. It's been two hours since I left and my ears are still ringing. There was a larger group next to us who were older and several of them were literally cupping their ears at times because the volume of one group was so incredibly loud it was uncalled for. The main group in question should clearly have been cutoff hours prior (they had been there at least two hours just drinking, no food whatsoever and there were several who were beyond obviously drunk). At the minimum, they should have been offered another room entirely. The restaurant was *losing* business because people were obviously leaving without ordering after-dinner drinks or desserts. A second group entered and they felt the need to yell over the first group. Altogether, it sounded like we were at a death metal concert. In the future, I will certainly come to Brass Cannon, but I will be second guessing that decision whereas before tonight I would not have.Parking: Parking is a considerable distance from the restaurant, so be sure to bring an umbrella for the driver if it's raining.
