Cava food has always been our favorite takeout..my daughter's love thier kids meal..we have been having food from CAVA in Falls Church for years. But since we moved to Gainesville, I cant say the food taste the same. Not excellent but not bad. I am just writing this review to highlight the fact that THE PORTION SIZE AT GAINESVILLE IS UNACCEPTABLLY SMALL compared to everywhere else. It feels like the servers are trying very hard to save food ..Especially in rice bowls. 1 portion is hardly enough for one person. I usually eat small portions. But these bowls are not enough for me too. 👎👎

First time coming here I simply pointed and asked what a certain food item was and the worker mumbled something I said pardon me but they just rolled their eyes at me rude service. On top of that our family all found strands of hair in our food. They also charged me for double portions even though I only got one portion only noticed after I got home.

They are always good, half white rice, half super greens, normal chicken is the go-to and when in season (wish they had year around) the sweet potato as a 2nd main protien. Place is always clean, staff is always great.
