CM Chicken- Gainesville

I never write reviews but I just had to write on for this place! My husband and I ordered a chicken sandwich combo, and we both left hungry and disappointed. The “combo” came with a tiny piece of boneless chicken, a thin handful of fries, and a 99-cent soda can for $17+. For the price, it was shocking how little food we received. On top of that, it took over 20 minutes to get our order, and the sandwich was drenched in honey to the point it completely fell apart.
When we politely asked about the lack of chicken, we were met with confusion. The manager told us over the phone that her employees needed to provide pictures as “proof” in order to get a refund and told their staff to go look at our food to tell her the exact portions we are 🤣 which felt extremely unprofessional. Instead of taking accountability, they pushed the responsibility back on us, making the entire experience feel like a slap in the face!
The young employees seemed to be doing the best they could, but clearly they were following POOR management direction rather than focusing on customer satisfaction. Overall, this was one of the WORST dining experiences we’ve had, and we won’t be returning!

Don’t do it!!!!! I swear this place is ridiculous. I went in there around lunch time with my wife and we ordered 2 of the sandwich combos. Tell me why I took one bite of the chicken… breading… okay took another bite.. breading… took another bite, keep in mind I’m deep in the sandwich by now, and guess what, you won’t believe this. MORE BREADING I swear out of curiosity, I took another bite and I am pretty sure it was a vegan sandwich. I got 0 chicken, just a slab of breading double deep fried with some runny sauce on it sandwiched between a bun that has given up on life. The bread fell apart completely before I could swallow the first bite. Fast forward to my very polite “can I have a refund?” Inquiry. The employee had to call the owner. I don’t mind that, but the owner starts arguing and asking to see pictures of how much I ate of the sandwich and completely disregarding the fact that there was no chicken in it. I asked to grab the phone and spoke to her myself, and finally got a refund after fighting for it for 20 minutes. I left hungry, my wife went back to work starving. Long story short, new management (very strong management and customer service skills as you can imagine). Just don’t do it. I will literally buy you food just so you don’t go there. Okay I’m done now.

1st time, wont be last. Absolutely delicious.
Had original chicken sandwich and mix of originial and honey (not the hot one) wings.
Wasn't expecting the wings to be the size they were. Very large, crispy, & juicy.

We placed a large group order (45 people – 14 whole chickens), and they gave us such generous portions that everyone ate plenty and we still had leftovers. The chicken tasted so clean and fresh, probably because they use good oil. We picked up our order this time, and we’ll definitely order again in the future. The Soy Garlic flavor was absolutely the best!

The food was decent and the service was fine overall, but we ran into a major issue with how my cousin’s order was handled. While the rest of our table received their meals about 15 minutes after ordering, my cousin’s food didn’t arrive for over an hour. At first, he was even served the wrong dish, and by the time the correct one finally came out, everyone else had long since finished eating.

We were told the delay was due to a large order and incoming online orders, but that doesn’t excuse how poorly the situation was handled. Compensation was only offered after we asked, and even then it was limited to free fries and a small discount on a future visit. Considering the hour-long wait, I believe a refund for his meal would have been more appropriate.

I understand that mistakes happen, and I’m sure this location usually does better, but unfortunately this experience left us with a negative impression.

First time visiting this place, and I must admit that the chicken is pretty yummy! We walked in and ordered, so it took about 20 minutes for them to make -- it was nice and fresh! We each grabbed a beer while we waited and sat outside to enjoy the cool evening. I got the spicy ginger sauce which was good with a hint of heat. The sauce got a little sweet by the third piece of chicken, however, so I think the next time I'll just order my chicken plain and use my own sauce/seasonings.

I got the spiciest option on the menu. It was hands down some of the best chicken I’ve ever eaten in my entire life. The sauce, breading, and chicken were all delectable. However, due to the spice, my stomach is currently fighting a battle it cannot win. Would eat again.

Awesome food and outstanding customer service!!! Definitely recommend the cheese tteokbokki, cm original chicken and garlic soy chicken if you’re coming with 2+ people.

Received food via Door dash. Food is very good. Only thing is no sauces came with chicken and rice had no flavor at all. Sauces would
Have sealed the deal and a bit more spice.

Wow I never had this big drumstick before. Definitely worth it of waiting for the food 🤤

Saw this new place on the map when I was driving down 66. This place really brings the spice. I got the calamari in red hot sauce and it was so good and addictive. I also tried the chicken sandwich with mala sauce and the flavor was really good.
