We visited this location today and found it closed. The sign on the window points to a new location but doesn’t say whether it’s open. Spoiler: it isn’t. One star for sending us on a wild goose chase

Just went here and there there is unlocked/opened, but it’s clear they are not in business. No product in the fridges and can’t get anyone’s attention in the back. Sign on the door says still open until next week when they are moving to a new location next to the glory days, but there is no date on the sign, so I went to see if maybe they had already moved, and there’s sign of them near the glory days. Update your google hours and location to closed if you’re not going to be in business!

Went yesterday around 945pm after checking that they close at 10pm. There were two gentlemen having ice cream outside. The lights were off and the door locked. Saw folks cleaning in the back. You're supposed to be opened until 10pm, why is your door locked and closed and lights off more than 15 mins before closing. 2 other vehicles came after us. I ended up getting out and taking a picture with timestamp on Snapchat to report to corporate.

Placed a mobile order at the Gainesville location and 2 of our 4 orders were incorrect… wrong sizes, with no mix ins, peanut butter placed on top etc. Too expensive for this lack of customer service and inconsistency!!

I went there last Saturday and told the staff I was gluten free because of Celiacs disease so I couldn’t have gluten whatsoever. The staff seemed to know what I was talking about made my ice cream in the back which I felt good about until I walked out the door sat down and after taking a bit of my Sunday found a brownie !!! I went back inside and told them there was a brownie in my ice cream. I never ordered a hot fudge sundae brownie. And the fact brownies have gluten in them unless from a gluten-free bakery. The staff seem to have no idea what the problem was. I informed them unless you have a bakery item that says gluten-free on the label all bakery items have gluten in them and told them anyone celiac disease this could severely damage. They did apologize, however the staff at this location needs to be trained on allergy issues like this because they are going to end up making someone very sick in the end if they do not. If you have celiacs disease, please be cautious. When going to this location. I do not think I will return. Due to safety issues

I genuinely tried so hard to be patient in every instant with cold stone but I’m so frustrated with their lack of care considering their insanely expensive prices. I pre ordered a cake over a month and a half before the date so that everything would be set in stone. I ordered in store and had to stay there ordering double the time because the lady wrote it on the wrong paper apparently and so she had me re answer all the questions, I didn’t have a problem with it. They gave me a time to go at 11am on May 10th. May 9th comes around and they call me say “hey so yeah there’s like no way we’ll be able to have your cake ready by 11am so come at 12:30 to pick up the cake.” I said okay no worries again not having much of a problem although it is a major inconvenience for me and was told to me very last minute. I show up May 10th at 12:30 and pick up the cake, drive home and look at it. At the store I checked to see if they wrote the name right “Isaiah” only thing I really checked hard for. I didn’t think I would have to check the word happy, yet they managed to mess up the word happy, writing “hppy” on an over 60$ cake! How does one mess that up and I now have no time to go back and fix it because I already had to go an hour and a half later than supposed to so again, I pushed it aside. Now it’s the party, we already sung happy birthday and birthday boy is now cutting his cake, he asked for all vanilla cake, from the icecream, to the cake to the frosting all vanilla. Super simple and easy to remember right… WRONG. They gave us chocolate cake which he hates, with Oreo, caramel and vanilla icecream. You can imagine the look of horror on all of our faces when we saw that. So so disappointing and I expect a FULL refund for coldstone ruining this birthday and leaving a birthday boy with no cake to eat!

Manassas on the left, Gainesville on the right, both delivered, same distance, same time. It’s like night and day! If you want ACTUAL Cold Stone who knows how to do it and cares what they are serving their customers. Go to Gainesville! Best all around!!!

Really bad experience and bad employees

Disgusting, dirty and honestly made me so sick I couldn't eat my ice cream.

We have ordered specialty cakes from them four times. The first two times were spot on...no complaints. But the second two times, including today for our daughter's birthday, were not even close to what we ordered. Incredibly disappointing.

The ice cream was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of flavors and mix-ins to choose from. The staff worked quickly to create my custom order, and the end result was a perfect, creamy, and indulgent treat. Their speedy service ensured that I didn't have to wait long, even though the shop was quite busy.

Overall, the combination of fantastic ice cream, wonderful staff, and efficient service makes Cold Stone Creamery in Gainesville a must-visit spot for anyone with a sweet tooth. I can't wait to go back for another delightful experience!

Ok where do I begin...First of all whoever decided it would be a genius idea to put this ice cream shop in a hidden place without any signage has a smooth brain...I was dashing and I looped around twice like an idiot and people were staring at me like I was a lunatic...Secondly when I finally called them and they FINALLY answered their phone (yes they were not picking up at first) I got instructions on where it was by an employee there. I go in and get the order and I try to lighten the situation by going "you guys really hidden huh" but not in an angry or even frustrated tone, more like with a little laugh...she just dead panned me, looked me dead in my eye with an ice cold robotic stare and with an equally robotic voice goes "here is your order, have a nice day"....I've never had an employee ever speak to me this way. I would've much rather have her give me an attitude, than that..That was extremely cold and weird. I would give negative stars if I could....I'm glad I don't dash anymore because lord knows why anyone who doesn't have to go here go here voluntarily..if they can even find the place in the first place...
