A great, slightly off the beaten path kind of place with a decent beer selection, daily specials and solid pub grub. Tried their Chicago dogs the other day; no poppyseed buns but authentic otherwise and the dogs themselves were very high quality. Love the atmosphere, it feels like a hometown bar for sure.

I'm conflicted. I was a military cook and a chef for decades. So maybe it's just my preference. The staff non rush hour, Top notch so pleasant. My order was take out.

The food ingredients seem to be excellent.

Ruben, I don't understand the spread I didn't use it. Only half had cheese, perhaps a teaspoon of crout and no pickle offered. But excellent beef.

Fish sandwich I didn't eat it was burnt. I took one bite it hurt my mouth. The fries were tasty but again kinda burnt. If I were to venture a guess? Someone needs to change that oil more often.

I guess some minor tweaks would help or maybe someone was a little tired and left my food in a little to long.

Saying that? I would probably try again. Maybe when they are busier the standard would be higher. It happens.

Good food and great service in a friendly 'CHEERS' atmosphere. The Reuben sandwich is to die for! Fish and Chips are outstanding. Prime rib melts in your mouth.

I’ve heard many good things about Jimbo’s over the past several years and finally got to try it for lunch with the family on a weekday. Getting there soon after they opened, they weren’t busy, but by the time we left, they were moderately busy. The menu is loaded with good eats and according to the server, nearly everything is made fresh, in-house.

The server also said they won an award for their wings, so we tried a batch – Half were spicy dry rub and the other half were Thai chili. Both were very tasty! The actual wings in the wet sauce, the Thai chili sauce were double the size though, which was odd. The server did an amazing job describing their Filet Mignon sandwich which is done on focaccia. She said the focaccia is a homemade rosemary style and this sandwich was amazing! The tenderloin inside was so very tender and perfectly cooked to a medium! The hand cut fries that came with it were great too.

Service was great! The place is basically a sports bar. Overall, definitely enjoyed the visit and look forward to the next time I’m back in the area to return!
