Haven't been in years because they construction has made it darn near impossible to get to but went tonight. It was exceptionally clean. Everything was just as it used to be: fantastic food, great sauce, quick service. Bunch of new things on the menu I don't remember. I think others are in the same boat as I was: it was dead there so (thankfully) it was nice and quiet. Highly HIGHLY recommend as the best Italian in the Haymarket/ Gainesville area with far better service as well! Definitely a hidden gem!!!

Food was delicious,fresh and fast. Service was wonderful. Only downside is that the bathrooms were not stocked (no TP or soap on women’s bathroom). But I do think this place is a hidden gem!

They have the best pizza!!! 🍕 Highly recommend the Athens Pizza 🥙 A true flavor masterpiece 🤤🤩👨‍🍳🇮🇹

Vegetarian options: A huge variety of 14 different salads 🥗 with a couple that have only vegetables, they have multiple different veggie pizzas including the classic white, cheesy cheese, spinach Royal, veggie, Napoleon, margarita, and create your own. 🍕 they also have wraps such as the Mediterranean wrap, subs such as The Grilled Vegetables sub. They also have pastas such as, cheese Manicotti, Ravioli, Baked Ziti, Eggplant Parmigiana, and the famous Vegetarian pasta 🍝 🥗🇮🇹 there’s also plenty of vegan side options

Dietary restrictions: They have healthy options and fresh fruits vegetables 🥗

Parking: Huge parking lot in back of the store. 🅿️😎

Kid-friendliness: It’s a nice respectable family restaurant. The kind you would wanna bring your family to after church. Really nice staff. 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒

Wheelchair accessibility: Handy cap parking in the front next to the door. The door is level with the ground so a ramp is not needed. Brilliant design. ♿️

Joe’s Pizza and Subs in Gainesville, VA, is truly a hidden gem! Our group tried a variety of menu items, and each one was fantastic. The Stromboli was perfectly baked and packed with flavor, the steak and cheese sub was tender and cheesy, and the supreme pizza was loaded with fresh toppings.

The service was friendly and efficient, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and portions we received. If you’re looking for delicious, no-fuss Italian fare, Joe’s is the place to go! Highly recommended.

Ordered from here, twice... unfortunately. First time- driest chicken nuggets ever. Seemed outdated and stale. Everything tasted as if it were cooked in the same fryer, w/ the same seasoning- fries, shrimp, nuggets. No condiments, silverware, or napkins. Horrible, eery in-place setting- corner of the woods. Worst sub ever. Chick parm was way below average. McDonald's would've been better, and that says A LOT🤦. Gave 'em a second chance, DEF regretted it. VERY surprised they're still in business. Even if you're snowed in and intoxicated, just go to nearest 711. You're welcome in advance. I would rarely bash a business, but this place is a big no for me. Only plus is the guy that delivered the first order, and the two guys I met going in the second time, were very respectful and genuinely nice; so, it hurts to do this review.

Best pizza in Gainesville and Haymarket area. Ordered pepperoni and Margherita pizzas. Tasty dough and sauce. Also got 20 hot wings. Overall great food!
