Mama Mia Pizza

We tried this place for the first time and it quickly earned a spot on our favorites list. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome. Our waitress, Farrah, was fantastic--she was warm, attentive, and had just the right mix of professionalism and friendliness that really stood out.

The food came out surprisingly fast, which was impressive given how fresh and hot everything was. We started with the cheesy bacon fries and paired them with the BBQ ranch (that's what I call it), and it was an absolute game-changer--rich, flavorful, and something we'll definitely be ordering again. Every bite tasted like it was made to order, not rushed or thrown together.

The atmosphere was just as enjoyable as the food. The restaurant had plenty of seating, so it never felt cramped, and everything was spotless and well-kept. What stood out most was the sense of community--many of the staff seemed to know the customers by name, creating a warm, welcoming vibe that made the place feel more like a neighborhood gathering spot than just another restaurant.

Between the top-notch service, delicious food, and how quickly everything was served, this place checks all the boxes. We'll absolutely be back to try more of the entrees on the menu.

Honestly, I don’t even know where to begin, the food, the atmosphere and the service goes BEYOND my expectations. The family owned business treats you like a part of the family the moment you walk in. They have nothing but the most genuine, kind hearted staff. You can tell they deeply care about their guest as well as their food.

I have been to Mama Mia’s many of times and I have NEVER been disappointed by their food. Every dish is clearly made with fresh, high quality ingredients. You can taste the love of their restaurant in every bite.

The service is smooth and delightful. Even on a busy Friday night, we never felt rushed and our food always comes out in a timely manner.

It is extremely hard to find a restaurant that checks all the boxes the way Mama Mia’s does- great food, friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend Mama Mia’s to anyone looking for a new place to try.

This was the worst pizza I’ve ever had. I didn’t think it was possible to make bad pizza but this is gross. So much garlic and salt and raw dough just disgusting.

I love the atmosphere—it has the same familiar layout as the one they had in Manassas, which brings back great memories. Plus, the food is delicious and the prices are very reasonable!

This lovely family-owned restaurant is AMAZING!! Not only is the food very delicious and fresh (as well as made with passion), the atmosphere and staff were absolutely wonderful.

I came in alone and sat in the bar area. I was able to converse with the mother and son, and they are such lovely people.

I had a personal pizza, and it was VERY good. The owner was also kind enough to let me sample a piece of their gyro meat, and that was also extremely delicious!! It's better than Greek restaurants I've eaten at it the past!

Overall, 5/5 in every category. This is now my pizzeria of choice.

I love their subs and the workers are so friendly. I miss the restaurant in Manassas, but the one in Gainesville is awesome

Family run business for 40+ years. I went to Mama Mia's when they were in the K-Mart shopping center in Manassas and the food is still the best, especially the lasagna and pizza. Pure Italian deliciousness. If you haven't been here, go and you won't be disappointed or leave hungry.

A family pizzeria does not stay in business for 35 probably closer to 40 plus years if they do not have good food and good service. I have been going to Mama Mia's since high school, and the food is consistently good! The subs are awesome, and they have a huge variety from the Tom Dooley to the New Yorker and the classic steak and cheese. The bread is always fresh and they taste great! The house made Creamy Italian dressing is my favorite. The proof is in the details like: crushed ice, big thick steak fries, and the melted cheese on the bread that comes with every salad ( I think it does anyway if not add it!) The French dip, and Mikes Chicken sandwich are two of my favorites. I have no complaints on the apps, always just right. The Gyro and the Greek Souvlaki were very good. The desserts are always tasty ! To top it all off, the staff and service have always been top notch and like family! You always get a warm welcome and a great meal for the entire family!

The food here falls somewhere in between 7-11 and Chuck E. Cheese. Pizza is doughy and floppy. The staff were very nice though!

Mama Mia's is a family friendly spot where you are treated like their own family. Staff makes you feel welcomed, and the food is GREAT. My family and I have added Mama Mia's to our favorite list for dinner out!!!
