This is a review for the Gainesville location. On November 1, 2025, I placed a large order (8 meals) online. I had a family member pick it up. Later, when unpacking the meals, it was discovered that one was missing. My husband called the Gainesville location and wound up speaking to one of the managers (I regret that I don’t know his name). My husband was planning on picking up the missing meal but happened to ask first if it could be delivered instead. What happened next was an example of amazing customer service. A Mission employee (possibly one of the managers) drove approximately 15 minutes to deliver the missing meal. I discovered when I opened the bag, a Mission BBQ gift card was included - wow! I was blown away! I’ve been a fan of Mission BBQ for awhile (they catered my wedding a few years ago) but this level of customer service really placed them a step above the rest. Thank you, Mission BBQ - Gainesville for taking care of your customers! We will be back soon.

My husband and I stopped in for some BBQ and we were greeted by the most professional and friendly employee we have ever had at Mission BBQ or anywhere! Emma was so uplifting and friendly, she made our trip an even more enjoyable time just by setting mood after a long day. If she dosent get a promotion or a pay raise Mission BBQ is going to loose their best employee! She should be fast tracked to Managment!

If you want bbq, dont go here. Meat was dry. their idea of 1/2 pound seems way off. The sauce was not consistent, and more vinegar taste. Dickeys BBQ is better, and I hate Dickeys.

We absolutely love this place! The barbeque pork, chicken, and a variety of sides are incredibly flavorful and always very consistent. The staff alone are very friendly and have been one of the reasons we continue to come back.

We have gone to this restaurant several times since we tried it 1-2 months ago. The price is great for the amount of food you get. My dad gets the pulled pork sandwich, which is 6 oz. Of meat, and he makes 2 sandwiches out of it. I always get the lean brisket platter which is 8 oz. Of meat, and I get 2 meals out of it. I get the lean because it has less fat on it then the other option.They also have a variety of sauces you can try for your meat. We will definitely visit this place again, as these days there are not many places that actually give you value for the money you spend, let alone get 2 meals for a decent price.
Stopped into this location for lunch and like most Mission BBQ locations food was good and the service was quick. Had the pork sandwich and mac n cheese couldn't ask for more.
