I found this place because we were headed to Wegmans and my 6 yr old daughter likes Sushi and wanted to try Hibachi. We had an amazing experience from the time we walked in until we finished our meal. The hostess and servers including our Hibachi chef were excellent and very attentive. Our chef, Dukey (sp) was especially attentive and friendly with my daughter and she’s already asking when we can return. She ate all of her Sushi and half of my Chicken Teriyaki which was delicious. We will be back!

Food was Spectacular. High quality food and high quality service. The staff is very friendly and quick. They were super busy and we were still sat a few minutes before our reservation time. 10/10 Would recommend!

Don't waste your money! It is so gross

Great place! The chefs are amazing and the experience is fantastic.

While I'd like to recommend Musashi, there is one thing preventing me from doing so... Let's start with the positive. Food with flavor you come to expect from a Japanese Steakhouse, very friendly and entertaining cook, great overall dining experience but there is just one thing I will not get over... Bottled water. WTF? Tap water is fine. But it's not an option. And frankly, that's frustrating. We had people ordering beer, fountain drinks etc., but the fact that we were forced to purchase bottled water just doesn't settle well with me. If you need to pad your tickets with the inflated cost of bottled water then I don't need to patronize your restaurant. And those ordering water weren't doing it to be "cheap". It was truly their desired beverage. This, to me, is just tacky.

Food was delicious and service was phenomenal. Joey is a great chef and was very personable. Restaurant is clean. I hope to be back and try the Japanese whiskey flight!

My family has been going here for just about every person's Birthday plus a few other times for the last 25 years. So we eat here about 6-8 times a year. The food and sushi is AMAZING, sauces are incredible! At this point I get more excited about other people's birthdays then they do! 😆.

I don't quite understand some of the bad reviews I've read here. It's not an in and out real quick restaurant, and there's about 500,000 homes within 10 miles of this restaurant which is one of the most popular in Gainesville, so we simply avoid holidays as I'm sure service is a little slower.

Everything is good though! Salad, soup, nigiri, hibachi is my order of things!

I ordered to go sushi almost a year ago, never reviewed, but a friend and I just drove by and it reminded us….we found a long black hair in the sushi roll and a tiny bug in the container, running around the sushi…. We’ll never eat there again. 🤢
