I'm done with this place. While I met some cool people there, there's a few people(local) whom I'd rather never be around. I definitely will never be back here. Big shout to Jackson though. He makes every effort to run a successful business but idk there is something about the place that has made me back off.

My brother came to visit me and I decided to take him to MPV. My Coworkers said they had really good food and great hospitality but when we went there, no one wanted to serve us and no one wanted to speak to us. We waited a good 15 minutes without service and we just left. I don't know whether it was because we were black, but the service was not there. It was a waste of my time I end up going to bar Louie around the corner and having a great night. Also, I was embarrassed

This place is what it is, and it's a frequent spot of ours. Always interesting night coming here whether it's just to have a few beers or play pool for a while.
I typed I " dive bar " and thuos gem popped up. I wouldn't consider it dive - I'd consider it low key. It's got everything a rec center would have - 3 pool tables in a separate room, beer pong, and a ping pong table plus a bar, TV's & outdoor seating. The vibe is everyone is welcome. Age, race, all walks 'COME ON IN ' . I loved it. There are regulars & noobs. The regulars spotted me & I instantly felt welcome. The owner was a little one the serous side, but hey everyone has those nights. I didn't get to review the food bc the cook called out. I'll be returning. Hopefully it'll have a 5 star review next time.

People love to complain, best bar in the Gainesville area. They have great food, good drink prices, and personable nice staff. The place feels cozy and clean.

Pool tables are the worst here. Also, all the table tennis rackets are completely missing rubbers. Wouldn't recommend if you're there for some indoor game experience.

Great place! Wonderful and pleasant patrons. GREAT FOOD. Jackson is wonderful (owner/manager) I’ll go back when one certain part time bartender moves on. She has a serious control problem. Last visit was in November 2021.
