I was told the kitchen closes at 9:45. I came in at 9:20 and there were 2 other parties in the restaurant. I don’t know why Michele the manager had such an attitude - maybe she was hungry or tired but it’s not an excuse for being rude. She was not able to comprehend my order after I had repeated it to her. She was getting frustrated and then asked me “are you ok?” Was she trying to insinuate that there was something wrong with me? It’s so sad that the service at this restaurant is so terrible. I told Michele she was being rude after she asked me if I was ok - she stated she wasn’t being rude and began laughing. I told her as a customer who is dining at the restaurant, her behavior was rude and inappropriate especially as the manager.

The flavors have always been good, but the portion control is really bad. Especially on takeout; I just ordered a chicken sandwich and the piece of chicken wasn’t even half of the bun and overcooked. Just finished eating and still hungry…

Food was great! Only problem was that on the sandwich we were supposed to get a reasonable amount of chicken on it, but it was the size of about a chicken nugget. Otherwise, we will definitely be coming back for their amazing fries, garlic bread, mashed potatoes, and chicken!

Come for the Peri-Peri stay for the roaches crawling across the benches. This place really needs to be shut down, fumigated and cleaned. So dirty.

I usually crave their wild rice side dish. I order the entree with medium level spicy, wild rice, corn on the cob, and garlic bread. You get flavorful juicy chicken and tons of dipping sauces to choose from. I order from the app and pick up!

INCREDIBLE SERVICE! I NEVER leave reviews, but I'm blown away. Cory, Chase, Addi, and Noah showed me absolutely outstanding customer service when I went to eat there this week. I have not experienced service of such a high standard at any other establishment. Beyond exceptional- kudos to Nandos for hiring such a talented and impressive team, my husband and I are recommending the Gainesville Nandos to all our friends and family on account of this experience!!
